obviously u do need to do MTTY or flash with a stock rom. after task 8 it will restart right? take the usb out then just press vol down +back + restart to carry out the updating image. after that, just hard reset it again and everything is fine afterwards.

all the problems u mentioned is just the same which i encountered last time. after MTTY, everything was fine. =) bsb 6.5.1D works great on me. faster compare with 6..5R

Have you used PocketTwit before? I am currently using that one but somehow, it doesn't seem too good to me. Will try motweets and see Thanks.

I am using Custom ROM though. Heck, i flashed from stock ROM to custom ROM without MTTY as well (at that time, they dont have MTTY). Probably i need to flash again using MTTY. The problem for me was when i straight take out the USB and press those button, it restarts and during loading of the image, it says "Triggering USB" and then keep failing. Tried it several times. Thus, need to use the conventional "transfer to phone and flash directly method" with the WM6.5R and it is working fine for me.

So far, i am more keen towards the WM6.5R. Somehow, i dont really like the button design of the WM6.5.1 and the missing top right corner "idle program" viewer.

just upgraded to radio 1.15 from radio 1.11,
since the benko's rom works well with radio 1.15 and the radio 1.11 i got pretty sucks battery life.
i got only half-day battery life with minimal usage on radio 1.11 with benko's rom.

still figuring the SU (security unlock) thinggy, thinking to flash with touch pro's radio.

Is the 1.15 officially available? Cause i tried searching from XDA, it seems that the latest they have is 1.11. Can you show me the link?

Anyone knows how can we port the top right drop down box that display the idle background process to the WM6.5.1? The BsB version (or all WM6.5.1, i got no idea), seems to have that feature missing. It only shows specific icons of some settings etc.

And anyone have a clean VGA version of the original MP3 Trimmer, most of the ones that i have found, are either in QVGA, or simply have bad interface problem.

u mean the task manager in stock htc wm6.1? try search for showcase at xda there, i am using it right now since it comes with benko's rom and mapped with long press start button.

and yeah, i am also looking for a proper version of mp3 trimmer. but so far it still can cut songs, just the bad background annoying me.

I am not too sure its BsB Rom that took the feature out or its missing from WM6.5.1 but when i installed BsB WM6.5.1, when you click on the usual top right corner drop down menu, it only gives me a list of icons, such as battery etc instead of a list of programs running in the background. The feature is available in WM6.5 BsB but missing in the 6.5.1. And i for one, really depends alot on that menu

i have done the mtty task 29 to reformat my rom due change new rom.but i forgot to put the desire rom into the internal memory. now my diamond just loading 'touch diamond' only. how to solve it..

try ask at xda dev there, maybe someone could help u. or try look for a software called handyswitcher, but i am not sure if it support wm6.5.1.

try get into bootloader and flash again with pc.

hi all, i'm a new diamond user for less than a week but i've noticed that the performance of my diamond is a little sluggish. i have been reading around and i understand that to make my diamond faster, i will need to flash the rom. and i also understand that there are many versions of roms that i can choose from, but they are unofficial. i tried downloading the latest official rom from htc's site (released 2009-02-27) but my s/n does not allow me to do so. however, i did find a s/n from other forums that will allow me to dl the rom update. is it safe for me to update my diamond rom with the rom from htc's site but not with my s/n? are the significant improvements with the official update, or do you all recommend that i use an unofficial rom update?

I got to run Android 1.6 on Diamond. Something new to explore.

Not out of beta. It does not exist as a ROM either. Quite some bugs but tolerable for casual development purpose.
