hi all, i'm a new diamond user for less than a week but i've noticed that the performance of my diamond is a little sluggish. i have been reading around and i understand that to make my diamond faster, i will need to flash the rom. and i also understand that there are many versions of roms that i can choose from, but they are unofficial. i tried downloading the latest official rom from htc's site (released 2009-02-27) but my s/n does not allow me to do so. however, i did find a s/n from other forums that will allow me to dl the rom update. is it safe for me to update my diamond rom with the rom from htc's site but not with my s/n? are the significant improvements with the official update, or do you all recommend that i use an unofficial rom update?
