lucky calling to 1111 was free. Or else i get pissed off.

i have a non phone pda so i would like to pair it with my Nokia E71. Previously it was paired with nokia 6680.
Da stupid CS said sorry they already deleted this information from database. Please go to the nearest celcom service centre.

The last time i set my 6680 paired with pda also call celcom.

1st call ) Call they ask me some dumb questions then need pass to technical support then no one pick up they said will call me NO ONE CALL

2nd call ) Wait too long suddenly call ended

3rd call ) Listen to music for half an hour on loud speaker bloody crappy advertisement then FINALLY their support answer

4th call ) Fail to fix it

5th call ) Fed up search the phone setting fixed it myself.

For digi they never disappointed not even once. If they dunno they will pass to someone that 100% can answer my question and the answers are satisfying not like celcom the answer are pissing off.

I have to say Celcom is doing very well nowadays. Their network quality is the best among the 3 telcos. I am using maxis now, and I have to say I notice the degradation of their network quality of late. Frequent drop calls, billing errors (getting a bit frustrating when you want to add in family lines), poor coverage.

I am just waiting for celcom to come out with a family plan similar to maxis "sharing credit" basis. If they launch that, I will port to Celcom , together with all the supplementary lines.

i dont think they will revise their postpaid plan for the time being.. in the future mabye la, because they currently enjoying the 'successful' of their postpaid plan..

i'm currently using maxis and i was thinking to change to celcom prepaid. is it a wise decision? me and my gf considering to change to celcom but i would like to know

- does celcom has the free calls between supplementary line like maxis?
- i for once subscribed for celcom few years back but i was charged a lot of hidden fees for termination. do i get charged for termination of the line?
- maxis is full of bullshit when they are requiring customer to pay a deposit of rm300 for roaming. do celcom requires any deposit to register for roaming?

i hope i could get some feedbacks here. thx

- celcom have free calls and video call 40 hours per month for each lines.
- celcom also have free sms and mms (2000 sms/mms) per month for each lines

note: if im not mistaken, maxis only 20hours free call rite? or 15hours something.. not really sure.. but digi free call is unlimited.

- there is no hidden charge or what ever charge to terminate the line.. unless you subscribing any package come with contract (such as free handphones, etc)

- about deposit for roaming, not sure.

hey, everyone 'in process' to switched to celcom now.. read this blog

there's a small deposit required for idd call, that amount will add up to your account limitation. forget how much thou, unless you are a long timed customer with a very good payment background, they will consider no charge...

@epool86

by the way, we are out of topic.. back to celcom territory!

the issue of using pay per use internet instead of unlimited data can happen to celcom as well...

it is actually the issue of miscommunication...

but 1 main thing we must understand, customer service for telcos & banks in Malaysia are basically suxx to the max...
