yet to try the connection but every time TMNut mentioned 'FIXED AT <DATE>', it would also means 'LAGS FOR FEW DAYS UNTIL COMPLAIN IS DONE'...

How's the line last night guys?

I'm asking people who are using tunneling and non-tunnelling. Especially for Malaysian players who are on Gamepath and other tunneling service.

Trying to find out whether it's a Streamyx problem or not. Very hard to tell. So annoying.

it's ok for the 1st 15 minutes, then comes latency roller coaster

i stopped 20 minutes later but staying afloat at 800ms - 1.2k ms, better than >9000

Hmm...how about the others? How is it for raiding and dungeons?

People are so quiet sometimes. sad.gif Or maybe it's just lunchtime.

This is not a competitor check lah. Just wanna check if it's just Streamyx acting wonky or not. tongue.gif

LoTH Tunnel / Ping2Pwn

Yesterday was quiet. Nobody complained about lag or anything. Currently we are setting up the Sydney Server.
I did a random check yesterday ...

WoW :

Malaysia Server: 240ms
SG Server: 290ms
US Server: 320ms

My tunnel staff was raiding yesterday to with NO DC and stable Latency...

Had many ppl on playing various games due to ppl taking advantage Pre- 15Sept09 Signup Promo.
We keeping an eye on the server and tmnet though.......

AION

US Server : 220ms

Rappelz US :

All Servers : No Lag

WINMTR whistling.gif

First point it to ur tunnel server and check ...
Then point it to your Wow Server IP ... see wheres the trouble..

If all else fails... when ur connected to ur Tunnel's Shell ( via Putty ) run a mtr to the wow server IP to see how the data is flowing between tunnel server and game server...

DMZ.MY

Approximate ping time from your connection to our servers can be checked on our website.

Current ping check from DMZ servers to WoW LA Datacenter -
MYY01 (AIMS) - average 190ms
MYY02 (Cyberjaya) - average 200ms
SIN01 (QALA) - average 205ms

Of course, you guys are more than welcome to test it out yourself.
We have an automated instant sign-up page where you can get up and running within 5 minutes. smile.gif

So far didn't get any complains from my current users so I guess things are going fine *touch wood* biggrin.gif

Thanks guys.

Just saw the news on Streamyx page that things are back to normal (well, as normal as they think it is).

Also, 2 hrs ago, heard from friend in Miri who had connection problems. Apparently yesterday, one of the servers "change" settings for some customers and caused a lot of them difficulties. The local techs are now going to individual houses to check the settings and connections. They can't seem to track the problem down so the local guys are checking based on the complaints that they are getting via the helpdesk.

Adoi...

From what i heard , TM is secretly picking ppl and testing an IDLE bandwidth monitor and throttler system ... Happened to my next door neighbor. I was zooming at my house, his house was SLOW . We switched logins and I was zooming at his house and crawling at my house. Did the MTR and saw that everything stopped and slowed at TMnet's gateway.

We both have 2m line ..

and of course i gave him back his access lol.

Wahliaw... TMNet sounds like they are up to something.

On another note, looks like I'm out of the game for a bit. Kena the ban warning for Economy Exploitation. Adoi...

The thought of having to download Rappelz again staggers my mind. I stop playing because of latency issues last year. Too jerky for me.

Ah, so you're Muzx.

Hmm....have to check with Eugene on this. Can you help to post in the GP forum rather than here as Eugene doesn't follow LYN forums much anymore.

I know that he said that the 23x gates weren't ping-able. We're waiting feedback from users whether it's stable or not after Sunday's maintenance works.

Yeah... Officially, that particular datacenter has been having some network interruptions and issues. They're currently still doing some maintenance and fixing about to try and resolve the issue but the last notice I get is that it'll still be a couple of days before things are back to normal again.
