I got for the first VF-1S, but still playable. Honestly I don't care too much the issue, cos I transformed too many times already. and I keep other Valks in display, play only VF-1S

and I refrain myself for not to buy any new 2nd version of 1/60s untill Yamato fix this..hopefully

Thanks bro. I'm reading thru Macross World and it seems like a prevalent problem. Gonna inspect my set, VF-1S (DYRL), VF-1A (DYRL) and VT-1 that are considered problematic. Also the VF-1S has been transformed only once, the VF-1A has not been played with and VT-1 is still MISB. It would suck if the hinges on the shoulders are cracked. Makes we want to go Bandai from now on.

Will keep you guys updated.

Thanks,
Ray

hi ray,

it is a prevalent problem for the 1/60 v2 releases up till VF-1S Max IIRC....
my roy VF-1S, Hikaru VF-1A, Hikaru VF-1J & VF-1D came with cracked shoulder hinges (fresh out of the box, except roy which i abused more)

lemme see if i can find a pic.......

HLJ has it for sale

http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00185

The production pics look good but don't think there are any finished pics or reviews of it online?

Also I guess its mainly for display purposes once its painted and with stickers slapped on whistling.gif

Anyone here owns a mighty block stand? Looks like a cheaper alternative to the valk stand. Only RM70 plus shipping from HLJ. Here's a pic:

Bro...in the anymoon review stated as below on the shoulder problem. For me, my valks i never checked as don't want to be dissapointed...but my valks always in the mode that i have set /planned. Seldom transform.. but if easy to replace then why not...

1) Focker VF-1S with Super Parts (V2) – Worst shoulders ever, avoid
2) Focker VF-1S stand alone (V2) – bad shoulders
3) VF-1A Hikaru with Super Parts (V2) – bad shoulders
4) VF-1A Hikaru stand alone (V2) – bad shoulders
5) VF-1J Hikaru with Super Parts (V2) – Potentially bad shoulders (far less frequency than the first four releases.. allegedly Yamato urged the factories to be more careful at this point… hell of a fix.
6) VF-1J Hikaru stand alone (V2) – potentially bad shoulders
7) VF-1S Hikaru with Super Parts (V2) – potentially bad shoulders
8′) VF-1D Trainer (V2) – I haven’t heard of a single broken one… rumor is that this release has smaller shoulder pins but I can’t substantiate that
9) VF-1S Max (V2) – Rumored to be safe (if you have any insight, please leave a comment)
10) VF-1A Max TV (V2) – Rumored to be safe
11) VF-1A Max DYRL (V2) – Rumored to be safe
12) VF-1A Hayao TV (V2) – Rumored to be safe
13) VF-1A Hayao DYRL (V2) – Rumored to be safe
14) VF-1J Cannon Fodder (V2) – Rumored to be safe
15) VF-1A Cannon Fodder (V2) – Rumored to be safe
16) VT-1 SuperOstrich (V2.1) – potentially bad shoulders (!)
17) VF-1S LowVis (V2.1) – Rumored to be safe
18) VE-1 Elintseeker (V2.1) – Rumored to be safe (review pending)
19) VF-1D Virgin Road (V2.1?) – Rumored to be safe (Let me know if you own one if it’s a V2 or V2.1)
20) VF-1J Miria (V2.1?) – Rumored to be safe but has some delicate paint
21) VF-1J Max (V2.1?) – Rumored to be safe but has some delicate paint
22) VF-1S Focker Anniversary (V2) – Rumored to be safe
23) VF-1S Hikaru Anniversary (V2) – Rumored to be safe
24) VF-1J Hikaru with GBP (V2) – Reissue of stand alone with potentially bad shoulders

Bro Iman,
any update on the Konig? what is the targeted price...it should be huge i guess...

i dun think it will be same ratio as 1/60s, maybe will be 1/100, and will be around same size as other valks instead of being a lot bigger.
