Limited choices. There's the 1/60 DX version, which comes prebuilt. I find it really fat looking. There's the 1/72 model kits, which requires assembly. These are very accurate compared to the lineart of the VF-25. Both these 2 choices feature perfect transformation.

There's an upcoming 1/100 kit as well, but it requires part swapping for its transformation. From what I heard this one looks more like the DX as well. Fat.

If you don't mind building kits, I suggest you wait for the VF-25F with Superpack. Release date is the 19th of February.
*
the upcoming 1/100 is not a kit, it's an action figure, plus only the 1/60 DX chogokin has perfect transformation, for the 1/72 kit you'll have to swap some parts..

QUOTE(evanrue @ Feb 15 2009, 10:18 PM)
haha, i wouldnt call it a "fuss"... the DX 1/60 is not perfect transformation (only because of the hand swapping); how i wish it was so i can just buy it, but as it is, *sigh*..

and now that Yamato has perfected their v2 1/60 VF-1x line, they are doing nothing except releasing every single VF-1x colour scheme out there  rclxub.gif  ..i wish Kawamori would just allow Yamato to have a go on the VF-25 mold  nod.gif  it'll be a healthy competition, hahaha..

..................

talking about PT, i read in a comment for the CollectionDX review of the 1/60 DX that one pair of the fists used for battroid mode can actually be tucked into the shield in fighter mode; if this is true, then the DX can be PT.. any DX VF-25 owner can confirm this? smile.gif
*
hmm.gif i dont think fists can fit into the small hole in the shield.. bro evanrue you havent got your DX Chogokin vf-25f?

Hi Wolfx,

The Low Viz was obtained for RM1500 from Time Machine in BTS.

Anyways, here are today's haul:

(A) Ostrich VF-1

© Charaworks 1/144 assorted.

Here they are out of the box:

Due to space constraint in the cabinet, they are displayed on the top tier, here is the pic:

I wonder why the toys here are so expensive compare to Singapore. Over there you can find a building selling toys at China Town square. I usually get my friends to buy the toys and then bring back for me later.
*
becos singapore's import tax for toys is lower than malaysia
but generally gundams are cheaper in malaysia than in singapore, dont know why though.. probably because there's an official distributor here..

RVF-25 and VF-25G secured! Now I have all four VFs. A bit worried that they won't release the armored pack as a stand alone. I don't want to buy another VF-25S! Boo!

Got my first Macross from Time Machine on Saturday. 1/72 Michael Custom and a Super Pack for it. Just wondering here guys, i am worried about the decals if i were to always switch it from fighter mode to other modes etc. Will the decals peel off or destoryed if i were to always do that?
*
yes i think it will, so if you plan to change modes frequently, better opt for a DX Chogokin..

for anyone who doubted, here's a review of chogokin rvf-25
http://gamu-toys.info/goukin/gouki/dxf03Rvf25/01.html
notice the two different tones of greens? my guess is that it's not a defect and it's meant to be designed that way icon_rolleyes.gif

Actually, from what I gather, some units don't display two different tones, while some do, so its most likely a defect. Also, going by line art and the 1/72 kit, the RVF-25 does come in two tones, but not in those areas.
*
we're talking about bandai here. It's somewhat impossible to get so many Bandai products with defects right? Also, I would like to see myself 1 chogokin rvf-25 without 2 different tones of greens as I personally have yet to see 1 before. Now I'm waiting for mine to arrive so that I can verify it myself..
