I'm also a Macross collector, recently became interested again after watching Macross F. Don't have too many in my collection because like catcha said above, the price on these stuff (especially Yamatos and Bandai DXs) are very high. My take on this would be to just get the ones that u really really like, for me would be the different valkyrie models from all the series. Great to know there are so many Macross fans here too. For me, some are easier to skip than others. Like the newly announced VF-11C... I hardly see enough difference compared to VF-11B to warrant a new purchase. Or the YF-19 repaints.

Better to spend the money on something considerably 'new', like the upcoming Elintseeker.

I do hope that Bandai's 1/100 VF series go the distance and cover all the valkyries.. they are not half as bad as most reviews claim.

I basically gave up on the Gerwalk mode for Armored Ozma

Yeah. several problems: the wing cannot support the armor on its own, so u need to add 3 pieces of support to it which attaches from the wing to the legs. that limits the movement of the legs drastically.

also the wing armor is so close to the body that it blocks the arms from any sort of movement. and while u are trying to get them all to align, bits and pieces of armor (chest, arms, shoulder) start to fall off :S That's one of the problems mentioned by catcha.

Once u get everything steady, gerwalk mode jz sits there with straight legs and it's arms are being squeezed. not cool. it's stable enough that it doesnt need the stand.

However, the other 2 modes look way too good to pass

I'll pass on the Armor Plus. It looks great but I'm more inclined to keep the funds to get another valkyrie

Not terribly excited about this set, after the poor experience with Armored Ozma. It's such a chore to handle.

cool.. i saw that the Luca's Ghost & Weapon pack has a pair of reaction missiles. wonder if anyone tried putting them on Ozma before? i do see there is a hole at the side of the wing armor...

Why man? Coincidentally, I also bought a YF-19 last week YF-19 with Fold Booster pack.

I'm looking forward to this one too I like Miria's striking red more than Max's.

Yeah...RM500 each... a bit too much to handle, especially after i just got the VE-1 :S

I personally like the VF-1S's head the most and really looking forward to the Roy Fokker anniversary release!

Heheh, yeah, the VF-0S is one of my next target I just love it in Battroid mode, with the Ghost fully loaded!!

Nice, u have the VF-0A with Ghost! I'd love to have both VF-0A and VF-0S together just like in the last episode of Zero~~

Yeah, I got the Elintseeker, but I'm not sure I really like it. The accessories are awesome, with those antennas and dome. The thing that didn't do so well for me is the color scheme, which seemed rather bland. And u'll need a proper stand to display it,especially in fighter mode because of the sensor at the bottom.

...still a long way from your estimates!

I'd really like to pick up the RVF-25, but the Ghost is sold separately and each one costs RM3xx!! that's really sick~~~
