@NV20:

in my case, no. been using it for almost 2 months.

@Coconut:

i have the same mindset also before this, but after having 2 long scratch on my screen, i start to have doubt on sgp. Hopefully the scratch is only on the protector and not the screeen.

Like teikwing said, the SGP Shield's provided screen protector is quite scratch resistant, how then can the screen be scratched? For that matter if you have a sp applied, generally the screen cannot be scratched. Why are you asking such a question?

My apologies...I did not read the rest of the thread before posting.

Anyway, it takes a lot to scratch the SP that comes bundled with SGP Shield, IS or BG.....

@Coconut:

i've been using my unit with a pouch hence it's hardly vulnerable to any sort of scratches. but i've tried cleaning it the screen with all types of cloth (even non-micro fiber type) and still scratches are not visible.

@dopamine:
depends on your preference, Rebel is a combination of soft-hard case while Clarifi is a hard case. i don't think you need Clarifi's macro close-up lens if you're having 3GS, since the AF is quite sufficient for close ups.

Just a side note regarding the Griffin Clarity case with Build-in Close-Up lens.

To be honest, this casing has cause me 4 screen protectors. The build is too tight to fit into my i3G. Whenever I try to squeez it in, my screen protector alwasy peels out at the corner. I asked the Machines guys to do it for me and they themself screwed up 3 screen protectors. doh.gif
Got pissed at the casing and bought a RM20 hard rubber casing from Digital Mall. tongue.gif

I'm letting go my Griffin case. PM me if you're interested.

after 14 days with my naked 3Gs, I finally put on the PowerSupport Anti-Glare film. This is the first time Im using any screen protectors ever (never done so on previous phones). I never did like screen protectors but these are really super nice. Easy to put on and absolutely no bubbles.

Any reviews from LYN user? No one is selling it at LYN I assume as I couldn't find it. Thanks for your reply anyway.

Does the Power Support Air Jacket shatter easily? I heard it's a highly rated case, but has the tendency to shatter if the iPhone is knocked off say from a office desk?

Any idea how much is it? Maxis is selling it at the iPhone roadshow at KLCC and I can't seem to find a unit at the Premium Reseller (@ Midvalley or Pyramid). Only indication is USD34.95. Cheers! smile.gif

Edit: Trying to check with twinkles now for the price at LYN to see if it's cheaper than RRP

@sysh,
The Power Support Air Jacket ain't glass so U have nothing to worry about - don't know where U got the idea from but it's pretty hardy IMO. I think it cost about RM139 @ Machines and it comes with 2 different types of screen protector; anti-glare & crystal film.

PS: Just take precaution when putting the case on, the side of it may leave slight scratches on the chrome area.

Oh..my bad. Think I intepreted what I read wrongly. Think what I've been reading is that the screen might shatter in a fall (if the phone drops face down) as the Air Jacket doesn't give too much protection at the front. Question, it seems that there isn't much protection on the chrome bezel, no? Since the case is 0.7mm thick only.

Darn..didn't know it comes with 2x screen protector. I just bought the Power Support Crysal Film SP a week ago.
