[attachmentid=879677]

If you ask me I love the rebels they allow me to mix and match and it gives FULL protection
Drop my phone once/twice and not a single scratch ^^.
Current mix-match options available: black and white serpent, devil, black and white neos (waiting on orange and purple essentials from US)
Btw if ppl are interested in the switcheasy ask Jacquei i got a few from her just 2 words to say about her RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT
Rest of my stuff is from SG/USA got a bro workin there ^^
The incase power slider is good if you can't find a power point or is a Game Geek ^^ but abit too bulky to go with jeans for casual use
Yet to try out the clear jacket power support smile.gif

Anymore crazies out there like me pls contibute!

of course the paul frank case will fit the extra large version!

anyways! new toy again (sorry, i felt like i had to reward myself a little biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif )

introducing the kensington mini battery pack and charger for iPhone and iPod! i don't fancy carrying a big battery pack for extra juice and this miniature version will fit my lifestyle better.

got it from apple store chadstone and i will update further after i have performed some test runs with this new toy.

2 ways to charge this kensington; via the apple usb power adapter or directly from the USB port on your computer.

additionally, you can charge the unit separately or with the iPhone and kensington battery pack simultaneously

alright enough talking and more pictures!

alright field report for the kensington mini battery pack and charger for iPhone and iPod!

i drained down my iPhone 3G S (bear in mind, the 3G S has a higher battery capacity) completely and ensured that it will not even start up.

then i plugged in a fully, 100% charged kensington mini battery pack and it took approximately 2 hours to charge the 3G S from flat to 55%

*
tats not bad at all..
and it ends da rumors which sm ppl told me tat tis pack cant charge a phone which is 100% dead...
definitely getting tis at da weekend...biggrin.gif

Hey guys, I will be owning a iphone for the first time this saturday, just wondering what type of casing should i buy, and what is the price of it. ANy other accessories i should be buying too? anti-scratch transparent film? ANy suggestions?
*
to tell u da truth, buying just one or two acces for da phones is neva enough..tongue.gif
for starters, u shud get a anti-glare or crystal screen protector..
if u r not planning 2 use any cases, then can consider those full body anti-scratch protection...
if u r getting a case, then drop by machines or epicenter, they hv a wide range of selection...u can pick ur choice...
this wud set u for da beginning...smile.gif
later on can consider earphones, docks etc...
and congrats on ur purchase...

For me, I am planning for the following:

1. SwitchEasy RebelCelestial - got it already
2. Apple Universal Dock - so I can drop in and charge while the phone is still inside the case
3. Griffin PowerJolt for iPhone - in car charger, and it comes with additional ipod cable so I can bring that one on me - it's great value coz bundled

Don't plan to use screen protector, coz the iPhone has a glass screen and very hard to scratch those. CNet had a video when the iPhone was first launched and they put keys and coins into a bag with iPhone and rubbed and shook them - without scratch. I had a Motorola SLVR which uses glass screen, dropped the phone so many times and the screen has zero scratch. Can't say the same for the body though tongue.gif
*
excellent choice bro...
rebel+3gs'oleophobic coating= total protection...smile.gif
i was using da dock earlier...switched to griffin air curve recently...looks kinda cool..biggrin.gif

@johnliew,
Er.. I suggest U don't try dropping ur i3GS.  A friend of mine accidentally dropped his i3G - and ur absolutely right, the screen didn't get scratched, it just cracked! sad.gif

hav been considering between rebel serpent black and capsule neo. which one is better? pls giv suggestions.  biggrin.gif
using power support air jacket now. is it necessary to chg? cos this doesnt look cool as those mentioned above.  tongue.gif

QUOTE(teikwing @ Aug 1 2009, 08:19 PM)
@orly?

PowerSupport Air Jacket is quite a good case IMO. cases are suppose to protect your phone. coolness comes second. biggrin.gif

however, if you decide to switch to either Rebel Serpent or CapsuleNeo, i would suggest Capsule Neo. not too sure if the current batch of Rebel has it but Rebel used to face the bottom saggy issue. sold mine off just after a month of usage. smile.gif
*
i have used neo as well as air jacket...
must say da jacket is da 'cool' in its own way..
its nt meant for protection, its for tat cool n sleek feel...
neo is all abt protection....comparing both, i'll use jacket for daily use n keep neo for a rough outing maybe...smile.gif

air jacket is sleek..and nice 2 hold..feels like nothing is attached to da phone...
minimum bulk...n its not just a transparent cover...
it comes in black, white and da clear one...
black is sorta matte material...

Oh..my bad. Think I intepreted what I read wrongly. Think what I've been reading is that the screen might shatter in a fall (if the phone drops face down) as the Air Jacket doesn't give too much protection at the front. Question, it seems that there isn't much protection on the chrome bezel, no? Since the case is 0.7mm thick only.

Darn..didn't know it comes with 2x screen protector. I just bought the Power Support Crysal Film SP a week ago.
*
na, thr is not much of protection from the psaj for da chrome part...
just a case 2 protect from scratches n all tat minor minor stuff...looks cool though...

3-in-1 External Battery packs a second SIM for your iPhone's calling pleasure

QUOTE

f you're a high-flying type rocking two contracts and, ultimately, two SIM cards, the new 3-in-1 External Battery over at USBFever could save you a lot of hot-swapping -- assuming at least one of those SIM cards is currently in an iPhone 3G or 3GS. It looks like an ordinary, bulky external battery, but inside packs room for a second SIM. Swapping is handled via an on-phone application and, according to the online instructions, it'll take about two minutes for your handset to figure out exactly what the heck is going on and reconnect to the different network. Sadly the phone can't monitor both cards simultaneously, so if you frequently receive calls on both you're stuck with that second device, but if by day you're a mild-mannered corporate user and by night you switch over to your secret personal account, this could be for you. $60 gets you in to the card-swapping party -- just leave your keys in the bowl on the way in.
