got quoted RM 1400 for sigma 17-70 f2.8 - 4.5 from boeing. Is that price ok for the lens? going there to test on monday

Why don't you get the Tammy 17-50mm f2.8 instead?

i went and read up on the 17-70mm, sounds like not a bad lens at all. btw 16-105mm and this, which one you all prefer?

anybody have experience dealing with yghsin trading before?? their prices quite cheap, but no manufacturer warranty.. only warranty by shop.. is it worth it??

why need many thread for one brand, the difference is the body oni..but lens, external flash mostly are same and can be used for all bodies..1 thread can gather more thoughts about one discussion..

hai all taiko..it's worth to sell kit lens 18-70mm to buy tamron 17-50mm f2.8 as replacement???

if want to use faster shutter speed, must compensate the exposure with wider aperture and/or higher ISO..

need to balance all 3, then only you will get the correct exposure

Added on January 30, 2009, 8:39 pmnot really.. coz you wont get much from selling the kit lens.. better keep it.. the IQ of kit lens is very good you know.. you can use it back some times.. also, it would be easier to sell the body with kit lens later if u wanna upgrade..

If you are able to sell it off for a good price to ease ya burden after getting Tammy 17-50mm f2.8, why not? Else keep it as a spare lens
