yup.. if you have the budget, just go for F58.. it have extra features that you wont get in a F42, for example the strobe function, "cobra head", faster charging time, etc..

f58 can get around rm1100

f42 can get around rm750

f56 can get around rm750-800 (second hand)

hey....guys...i'm planning to upgrade my gear in the future..just want to ask what is the road normally take?

flash -> fast lens?

or fast lens -> flash?

should i purchase a flash first or a good lens like tammy 1750 f2.8

oh and did sony announce the new price list for f58??

get flash first. If don't have budget, a F42 will work just fine. 2nd hand around RM 550-600. New around RM 750 from pertama & pudu plaza. Must hunt.

F58 is da bomb due to the swivel head. It truly shines when in portrait mode.

hmm..i see...the kit lens is good to do portrait cause i feel that in low light situation, its hard to focus on subject...that is why i wonder if i change to a better lens, does it make a difference?

i like take portrait so i get F58 with my 17-80mm kit lens i think good gua
