anyone know when the Civic 2012 will be brought into malaysia?

From what i heard from Honda SA, it will arrive shore of malaysia either end of de year, or first Q of 2012. anyone can clarify in this?
But it doesn't comes with hybrid version.
meanwhile, got a source (Civic 2012 in China) stating that China will be having dis model launched next month (April 2011) with little bit modifications.

pricing as well... i think, lots of ppl favoring this model will be eager to know the forecast price for dis model.

Guys. Did any of you (owner of fd1 specifically) manage to DIY audio control and cruise control on the steering wheel?

Am planning to do that and those whom are interested to join are most welcome to pm me.

Need to seek advice from those who have done it before.

bro, when the time civic 2012 design reach malaysia shore, insight wil b sth not special.
honestly, if i able wait until civic 2012, i'm very sure, civic wil b my decision during tat time.

have you check out the mazda3? honestly the interior is very nice with the 8" navagation touch screen..thinking to get that or wait for the civic..the only loosing point for m3 is its much cramped (thought on the paper its actually larger in dimension that civic..!) and the price is also pricier..

mine is stock 1.8

city i get 450-470km / 40l (normal)
hway is around 550/575 / 40l

tomorrow im about to sign and buy a civic 1.8 ...now starting to get confuse whether i should proceed to buy or not...

im buying new model but year 2010 stock with rm3000 rebate off....is it a good buy?

how much the price will drop lets say i buy now and then next year maybe trade in for the newer model?

it actually depends on the interest of design.
some said civic 2012 is ugly.... i still seeing civic with new number plate...

just that for me, civic 2012 making me fall love into it...haha...

seems like mazda 3 is a not bad model. pricing wise, etc, seems abuot de same as civic....

civic 2012 not yet nice looking to me.
mebbe coz it doesn't have Type-R version yet.
u know the fast versions always makes the normal ones sell.

Civic have a trend of ugly, nice generation. Since 8th gen is nice, than 9th gen is ugly.

But those guys waiting for new civic is not about nice or ugly. It is about new car or lastest.

the china version civic 2012 is a bit different from US version.

IMHO, 2012 Civic look smaller compare with the current one which is more wider, but the 2012 model does look more sportier.

I wait 2 gen to get this 8th gen. When I interest on 6th gen, it out of my budget and the interior not so nice.

Than come the 7th gen which a let down design and too normal. Than 8th gen is the perfect.
