Dear sifus here, Im the new owner for civic FD1. Just collect car last 2 days.

Pump full tank about RM88, after 2 days travelling, first half tank now go for about nearly 400km (70% highway, 30% city driving), is this normal??
For FD1, the fuel tank above is bigger or below is bigger?

Beside, as for new car owner, any advises from all sifu what to do or what not to do??

Thx very very much.. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Need some time to let the engine run in. New engine consume more fuel which is normal no worries ! Enjoy your ride anyway and welcome on board !

Thanks boss. notworthy.gif

Sometimes i feel the gear change abit weird.. Keep changing different gear, especially going uphill and pickup time..
Little while gear change and rpm reach 3k, then little while drop back to rpm 2k.

Hi Guys, any civic hybrid owners here? Really attractive with the tax incentive, just wanted to get some feedback, as i may stretch my sub 90k budget to get something more worth it.

Sifu gregy,

This is my first full tank after collect car.
I mean after i pump full tank, i archived nearly 400km for half tank, now still got half tank to go.
Will calculate see my full tank will go for total how many KM.
I suspect is it the top of first half fuel tank might be bigger?

FC on the Civic is horrible. The best I've managed to achieve was about 250km at half tank and ended up getting about 10.68km/l on a full tank; this was on 90% highway on the MEX. In a full week of waking up late (and gunning it every day), I only managed 8.68km/l.

Comparatively, I've achieved 11.65km/l on a Toyota Altis and 13.69km/l on a Honda Jazz.

My older FD1 which at that time had a 45litre tank only manages about 500km on a full tank (this is at around 120,000km mileage). Hope this helps.
