does fd2 type r suspension very firm?
very uncomfortable being drive on street roads?

It is a little more firmer than most other cars but I wouldn't say that it is uncomfortable driving it on the streets. The good side of that you get better road handling thumbup.gif

Just sold off my Civic 1.8 2006 batch. Too many problems with it sad.gif

Gearbox jerking, power steering motor pump failure and aircon compressor has issues. Farewell Civic, it has served me very well all this while.

Better go for Kriket...worth for the price..

Don't understand how cricket works even after being in the UK for a number of years but I do enjoy playing golf. It's a nice activity IMHO but I miss the Civic as I can usually fit in about 3 large golf sets in the boot and a half set. Very useful when making those outstation golf excurssions

@Mavik: unfortunate problems with your civic. i think mine has issues with the aircond as well; am getting it checked out while it is still within warranty. at one point, i considered switching to the golf as well, but after some number crunching, i had to walk away biggrin.gif

quick question: size wise, is it easy to live with the golf after going about in the civic (driving experience aside, of course!)?
*
I checked the issues with other Civic owners 8GCCC club and it seems that the 1st batch of civics has some of these issues. Mine had this loud whining sound at lower gears. I brought the Civic to Honda SC but their charges were high. According to the 2nd dealer who bought my car, his mechanic actually quoted the repairs at a much lower price.

In terms of your question, to be honest, I miss the size of the boot the most. Mainly because I have been moving a lot of things lately.

Yes it is, Vision and if I am not mistaken, Naza have a few units that they brought in. You definitely can't get those models from Honda Malaysia though tongue.gif

Dear sifus here, Im the new owner for civic FD1. Just collect car last 2 days.

Pump full tank about RM88, after 2 days travelling, first half tank now go for about nearly 400km (70% highway, 30% city driving), is this normal??
For FD1, the fuel tank above is bigger or below is bigger?

Beside, as for new car owner, any advises from all sifu what to do or what not to do??

Thx very very much..  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

My older FD1 which at that time had a 45litre tank only manages about 500km on a full tank (this is at around 120,000km mileage). Hope this helps.
