Have a question regarding the Civic selling for the time being. I was told that this car when stepping brake at 170/180 km/h speed, the rear side of the car tend to swing till cause unstable. I wonder do this happen to your car as well. p/s : Well I know we shouldn't drive so fast but just want to know

I was told that first batch of 1.8/2.0 equipped with 16" rim.... And it was obvious on 2.0L car, thus 17" rim being introduced to "reduce" the problem.

Thus asking the taiko here, as if anyone know.

QUOTE(shift2 @ Dec 28 2009, 11:50 PM) does fd2 type r suspension very firm? very uncomfortable being drive on street roads? It is a little more firmer than most other cars but I wouldn't say that it is uncomfortable driving it on the streets. The good side of that you get better road handling

I have made my mind to go for Civic 2.0. But there's a small detail problem with my choice. Due to my height, the digital speedometer is blocked by the top of the steering. The rev meter is clearly visible - not being blocked by anything.
So my question here is that is the steering adjustable (height) and is the seat adjustable as well (height) part. Cause I need to kinda gain a few more cm in order for both speedometer and rev meter to be visible.
Cheers!

The steering can be adjusted both tilt and telescopic... 5 cm in each... The seat height also... 5 cm difference... It shouldn't cause any problem...
Just lower your seat to minimum, and steering accordingly...
