in my opinion U mobile is onli suitable for a secondary supplementary line cuz in terms of the its reload validity or a minute's call it has no match for Digi n Hotlink..i bought 4numbers of U mobile n am now changing 3 to Digi n 1 to Hotlink just after 2weeks of usage cuz i cant maintain so many numbers while for Digi n Hotlink i can maintain ny subscribing to their 1year validity plan..

@ansonliew, how long is u mobile's validity last anyway? (i'm on postpaid, so didn't know).

btw, if U mobile's validity last for 1 year, it'd be good eh?

p/s: for hotlink, you need to have RM33 credit to keep it alive for 1yr right?

U mobile has no 1year validity unlike Digi and Hotlink.
erm even if U mobile has i wudnt choose it either cuz of its call charges which comes up to 0.48sen per minute even with the 20% reload bonus the charges per minute wud be 0.35 per minute n its still more expensive than other Telcos..but definitely a good choice if all ur calls r shorter than 10seconds or even 20seconds but i seldom make short calls so no point..and no FNF or Active 10 like Digi or Hotlink respectively another disadvantage for U mobile..
n ya u need pay RM33 for Hotlink 365 for 1 year validity n RM30 for Digi Long Life plan for the same validity smile.gif

yah true ... their bonus reload is confusing

few months ago i saw their website, they got this U Buddy Service promo (like FNF or Activ10) ... it's unlimited number of frens ....

limitations:

1) u haf to pay RM10 each month for that service ...
2) postpaid only. dunno if prepaid got or now ...
3) free voice calls up to 30 hours/month ...

so guys, @U Mobile users, are you still satisfied with them?

are the line still bad? svc sucks?
*
the line is ok, no complains
only that this telco not much promotion and dun have much value added service
the thing i miss is
activ10/FnF
1yr validity period
broadband choices for postpaid, like 50mb for rm30 a month for example
sms using postpaid to another network still expensive

thankx for hte info on Celcom/Xpax long-term validity.

me a U Mobile postpaid for 6 months ... line ok too ... not much complain against Digi (my primary line) .. i have more problems iwth Digi than U Mobile, surprisingly!

agree with u, not much beneficial/advantage promotions.

the rest of their promotions like "U Buddy Service" is like Activ10/FnF but need to pay RM10 to 'subscribe'. why no free?? [see my post #230]
