I agree with this, especially for prepaid. Even it is per sec billing, the call rate is about 0.8sen/sec which round up to approx 1 sen 1 sec. That's 48sen/min compared to 36 or 33 sen for other telco. Let's say you make a short call about 15-30 sec, i don't see that much savings, unless you do make a lot of calls that are shorter than 5 secs.

The only bonus i see worth noticing is the 1 hr free call daily to other 018 numbers.

for maxis it's still 48sen a minute UNLESS you top up rm30 it'll be 33cents now?

yup u are right....if DiGi 36sen/min without any minimum top up required.

this is U mobile Fans Club, y dont u ask at Maxis

i am replying to rainNshine.
u DiGi supporter another con case... 36sen is IF u use the prepaid I like or the chatplus.
if u use Fuyoh!/Beyond normal rates is 48sens
u ppl support certain networks but nvr tell the conditions

BTW, does Celcom/Xpax have 1yr validity for prepaid?
*
celcom blue , rm30 = 1 yr, rm50 = 2 yrs
i've been using umobile postpaid for 1 yr, thinking of switching

so guys, @U Mobile users, are you still satisfied with them?

are the line still bad? svc sucks?
*
the line is ok, no complains
only that this telco not much promotion and dun have much value added service
the thing i miss is
activ10/FnF
1yr validity period
broadband choices for postpaid, like 50mb for rm30 a month for example
sms using postpaid to another network still expensive

for example: today, P1 intro new product. next month, maybe Maxis. Another month, maybe Digi. <-- anyone of u asked them WHEN did they really come up with this product/idea? the week b4 launch?
*
bad example..
u can see maxis and digi keep fighting toe to toe
last time digi 6 number Fnf, maxis 5 activ5
then digi introduce 11 numbers FnF, tomorrow maxis intro activ10

digi intro 36sen a min,
maxis follow 33sen a min
yes its not really a new "product" but thats how they play with the market
