nice job ezwann, just for your info, that area is very vulnerable to some very minor water drip during raining. i would further recommend closing off the big holes in the door with cloth tapes or masking tape so that water doesn't drip inside and damage your 'cloth foam'. the plastic sheet layer that comes with the car will start to give way in a few years time..

i would recommend using superlon as its water inert (not so water absorbent). superlon is also good insulation + noise damper as well.

next step is to add bitumen strips to your door shell. you will feel different man... smile.gif

happy DIY-ing. thumbup.gif

hi all, this only my 2nd post here... what to say, so far satisfy with my waja cps apart from rattle a little here and there... hehe

i'll be doing my 30k service soon. thinking of changing to full synthetic syntium 3000 5w40.

however i went thru the manual, says if change to lower lubricant (from recommended 10w30), will avoid warranty.

1. may i know is 5w40 is lower or higher? really don't know about lube oil.

2. if change to 15w50 full synth, will there be any effect? manual says 10w30 or higher.

thanks for all experts advice.

i was wondering when we feel the power of cps?is it cps really fast than other car?or its just a placebo effect?to sum it up,does cps really that powerful?hmmm....someone pls convince me.
*
I dont think cps is about making the car go faster. Although it has 125bhp but i think the power-to-weight ratio is not optimum. Waja is pretty heavy car. It is even worst for Exora (planning to get one but wait until cps turbo is out next year). Its the power delivery that make us feel intoxicated. I'm not sure how others would feel, but for me personally it sure does feel like a plane taking-off. IMHO, the best place to test cps is on a long straight highway (especially after toll) and rev it to the max. I used to do it (my AT shifted at 6k ++ rpm) but now I drive conservatively most of the time. By my reckon, cps is the best car in sub 80k 1.6L category.

Yesterday it was heavy traffic due to Friday evening. The road was very congested from Jalan Tun Razak until Sg Besi Toll. After that i follow this one honda accord older generation than the current one. Not sure 2.0 or 2.4 ( i think 2.0) At one place we're cruising at 130kmh and suddenly i felt that the car in front of me a bit speeding and i floor it all the way until 195kmh and i can follow near him at the same pace ( same distance like 130kmh) ...then i need to exit at Bangi and the car went straight towards seremban/nilai. I felt so great that my car can reach that kind of speed following a bigger car like that and i belive we have same pickup with the VTEC...still i think it was 2.0...'I CAN FOLLOW YOUUUUUU' (kawaie vesion) hehhehee btw mine is auto rclxm9.gif

thank you for sharing...looking forward to hear more testimony.hehe.btw,just want to know how you ppl drag your car...do you rev until redline or shift after 4-5k on the 1st gear?bcoz i notice that the cps 2nd gear and 3rd gear is stronger than the 1st gear.so reving 1st gear till redline or shift after 4-5k is better?bcoz in my opinion better get to the 2nd gear faster rather than reving additional 1k on the 1st gear to get faster acceleration.
