QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 4 2009, 11:13 PM) True, furthermore no use of using variable valve lift tech when using turbo as its make the tuning alot more complicated and there's reliability issue also. Is this site recommended?? http://www.stickerontime.com/myweb/EMBLEM.HTMLSticker and emblem can get at any accessory shop that sells sticker. But to fing the high quality one is quite hard unless if its original. The high quality R3 emblem is RM28 which I almost bought but didn't because afraid later people will steal it. I use Helix Ultra Fully Syn 5w40 but they guys at RACE use Castrol Edge Racing Fully Syn 5w60 for their race preparation package. Maybe its better. Thanx ya~ |

jVIPERs2 - (Jullian) - Nanbu Black - WS* 7850 - AT QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 23 2009, 07:01 PM) Nope, no connection coz different plant~ QUOTE(norseman @ Mar 24 2009, 12:05 AM) When you get it, turn off the ac and go cameron on the Tapah road. I don't think you'll miss much on the MT. Heheh... Yeah, the auto cruise is crazy! I wheel spinned @ MRR2 when the car's travelling @ 80km/h going up a small climb when it dropped to 2nd and rev til 5.5K rpm~ But driving high revs seems to mess up the ecu. On the way back using autocruise, the gearbox likes to kick down on every small hill and that's at 120kmh... suddenly rpm jump to 5k plus rpm, not so smooth. In the end I just disabled it and went 160kmh with a City. |

QUOTE(norseman @ Mar 24 2009, 06:26 PM) sphiroth: Thanks for the info on brakes. Some more things to budget for modding! Haha... Sorry to hear that u hav been ripped off! I got the same engine oil for oni RM97 @ PESC... Just came back from 1st service at CKL Pandan Indah. Pretty good, fixed my steering and central lock. RM138 for Syntium 800. I wanted 10w-30 oil, but they say that's normally for Savvy, and the packaging is only in 1L and anyway they out of stock so too bad have to take the synth-blend rated 15w-50. What the hell, got a free Petronas T shirt too. Maybe at 5000km I'll try another PSC. Also here: http://www.mymesra.com.my/index.php?ch=lub...commender&ac=15 And frm my experience...pls stay away frm CKL.. especially the one at Taman Muda.. QUOTE(norseman @ Mar 24 2009, 11:29 PM) Sorry, I meant the whole service was 138. They charge 97 for the oil as well. What's wrong with CKL? Please share! Oh...similar as mine, mine RM130~ This happened quite some time back. I went there with my mum's Kelisa. There was noise coming from the back of the car. They say is wheel problem. So charged with alignment and balancing. Sound still there, so say was absorber. Adjust this and that but the problem still there. After testing and testing, they conclude is exhaust knocking the suspension. So they adjust adjust, then say sorry cannot adjust. Ask me to settle bill then send my car next door to exhaust shop. There, they straight potong my exhaust and replaced with Kenari's.. Charging me RM400! Then problem still there. Exhaust shop say not their fault, they juz do the job as told. CKL says he consulted me and I say ok (what can I do, it's like a doctor telling u got cancer ask to operate..operate d say sorry not cancer actually.. So in the end fed up, go Perodua SC... SA push car side to side then say bearings spoil.. Change bearings then no problem d.. And it costs less than RM50! From that day on, I vow not to go to CKL again~ |

At 1st 6.5, then 6.9, then go cameron 7.5, now after service with regular town driving no high revs, become 9. Does seem to drink petrol quite fast... Yupz.. Mine too..after service bcm like crazy~Full tank go around 50KMs, the fuel bar dropped by 1 quarter @ 9L/100KMs! Juz now, done 30KMs, dropped to 8.1L/100KMs.. QUOTE(lgs @ Mar 26 2009, 11:50 PM) Looking too.. The one that was shown @ paultan.org was kinda nice..too bad no twin exhaust~ |

QUOTE(lgs @ Mar 27 2009, 12:14 AM) Paultan.org got meh ?? which one woh ? any link ? It's here: http://paultan.org/archives/2008/03/10/200...odykit-artwork/btw I agree with Gen2 CPS low , sometimes I will "kena/scratch" the bottom , but the car from outside see is bit high if change Suspension sure more easy to "kena/scratch" I think is bcz of braking..when brake the car dips lower in front, that's y scratch.. Stiffer suspensions may work?? |

QUOTE(norseman @ Mar 27 2009, 12:49 AM) eujinee: run in? My FC seems to stabilise at ard the 9.4 - 9.7 range on a light foot which I think is close the the real consumption. So far I've tried Caltex, Shell and now on Esso. Don't seem to feel much difference. Pls don't force in more fuel.. Even my SA tried to, and end up fuel all over my rear and rims! jVIPERs2: On empty tank I can pump about rm63 till the pump keeps cutting out, but when see fuel gauge its still nowhere near full. And really just travel a bit the meter already drop to 3/4! Tmr do PPS! It's full, juz our meter a lil 'inaccurate'? Apa tu PPS?? Oh btw, when can I go claim warranty @ Shah Alam CoSE?? Do I need to make an appointment?? Thanx~ |
