Memory card getting so cheap now.
I bought mine last year for RM120 for the normal speed. That time don't have the Ultra version. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Feb 18 2009, 11:02 PM |

QUOTE(kokifung @ Feb 19 2009, 03:48 PM) These are the cons of AP.Wait for the reqion your C905 is from to have the firmware update and update then lor. Or if you dare to take risks of your phone becoming a paper weight, you can try the steps DavidMak found and mentioned in the last few pages. If original can use SEUS to update. Or if scared then bring to SE service center and get it done FOC since under warranty. This post has been edited by blurjoey: Feb 19 2009, 04:02 PM |

QUOTE(kokifung @ Feb 19 2009, 11:05 PM) QUOTE(Duckies @ Feb 19 2009, 11:50 PM) QUOTE(kokifung @ Feb 19 2009, 11:54 PM) dont worry ppl... it's not china phone or inferior quality phone...mine i bought ori also firmware is china wan mah. something I learnt about SE's firmware when I flashed my K750... there's 2 part of the firmware that needs to be flashed when you want to change your phone's firmware. 1st is the Main FS (I think it's file system?). Which will be the main software that your phone runs on. This controls the type of languages that the phone can support also i think. 2nd is the Customization firmware. Which determines more minor things like default settings of phone such as camera shutter sound (on/off), etc. (Some regions in Europe have laws that requires the camera shutter sound to be on.. to prevent naughty naughty people to... So...the "CHINA" part that you guys read in the software info is most probably the Main firmware. Which, i think is used in all asian countries coz it supports chinese language and input. If you scroll down further, under customization part, you'll see "APAC" which stands for Asia pacific... So, from there you'll see that the phone is not exactly a "China phone" (though i think 80% of the parts are from China anyway). haha. So guys, don't worry, your phone is still good and functioning right? The word "China" there doesnt mean that its bad. XD Cheers! P.S. There might be inaccuracies on how the firmwares function. I'm not a pro. But it gives the general idea. |
