OK finally the conman stories coming out. Vince has conned me for months now and saying will settle almost everyday till months. I met him here thinking he is a genuine honest person. He saw my technical repair thread which is

So what happen was he messaged me asking if can service his pioneer cdj series player, i said ok can. I drove all the way to his CC where he is working, ( Actually its his cc but conned saying he is working there. If a person is working in CC, y all the dj equipments is inside the cc, complete equipment? ) So after that i tested the cdj, it was faulty, so i told him need to take home and check, he said ok and let him know the quotation. I took back home, checked and verified everything, told him the price, he also confirmed on the spot without consulting anyone and gave green light to repair. Then after all repair works carried out and parts ordered and purchased, i told him that deposit needed for the parts as worried for FFK. Since i trusted him, he convinced me that payment will be in the next day. So i proceeded with my own money to repair. All together came up to $1450. From there onwards he started giving me reasons every time i call him, he says the following reasons :

1. Phone left at friends place

2. Waiting for mom as she said will borrow money

3. Friend said will bank in money tonight, tomorrow morning sure clear

4. Waiting for confirmation

5. Money not in yet

6. bank not open yet

7. Finally MIA

And now i see fam got cheated.

But no worries, i know where he works, his group, Whom he works with, which club he spins, which organization he joins with everything.

I had receive the PM Speedfamgirl , before all of this goes , i suggest u to make a full police report and send to me for my reference and i can explain to the police officer that i already reported earlier that where my money comes from . About Deejay_Krish , I had do my best for everything regarding the CDJ1000MK1 , the fellow dont want to find u i got no choice since the paying right is not in my side . Do PM me speedfamgirl after do the report , i will do a full explanation to u real soon but not by here , i wish to settle this without a dispute thread .

You have been given choices here, personally I think making a dispute thread in LYN is much better without involving the cops.
Look, i dont want to mess around with police reports, it's going to get nasty....and you will have bad reputations in your ID.
How about if you have the money & just pay back the rm4600, provided if you have not do any new ordering?
Since the wait is too long, i dont think i'll be interested to get another mixer....

Oh & BTW deejay_krish, the one in the pic (white shirt) is Choong, Vince is the one with black shirt.

Yes speed girl the black shirt is Vincent. Speedgirl he has conned both of us, do not give him chance anymore. Settle it or face worse consequences. He is trying to take u to PM to give another con story. Dont believe it. Whatever it is, he can settle it here, theres nothing to hide unless he has something else in his mind which i believe another con on the way. Be careful.

He came forward cause of a dispute thread. If not? he would be MIA for good right smile.gif So lets do the necessary actions.

Details of the complaint :

Initially i am seeking help from procontavia to look around in KL if there's a good deal on a new DJM800 mixer, since i'm from Kuching, Sarawak & nobody sells dj gear here in Sarawak.
Procontavia (Procon) has found an attractive deal through XtOtH3D (Vince) contact, about RM4600 per unit.
I agree on the deal & registered Procontavia's account in my favorite account list so that is easier for me to transfer money when i'm at work.

Dec 9, I've completed banked in money to Procontavia's account so that he could pay Vince, Since Vince PMed me earlier he has helped me to pay for the mixer 1st.
Dec 13, Vince PMed me he had the receipts ready. I asked for the snapshot of the receipts as proof of purchase. But he delayed the process. this is his PM:
But he failed to show the receipt until today....

There' a lot of communication between me & procon (If you want to read my entire inbox i'm gladly archive it & paste it here). Vince stated that he had a show in Miri & Kuching during 22-28 period. So procon suggest that Vince hand carry the item to me when have the chance.
Vince declined coz of their so called tight schedule. Might make sense coz the mixer is heavy...
The last i contacted him is on Dec 28 after i'm feeling upset from what's going on, being mixerless during Christmas was sucked. no party can be organized plus my holiday was wasted just only waiting for the mixer.
It was the last day he posted on the forums & last logged in was Jan 6th.

Looks like Vince has chicken out.

Makes me worried so i do a thorough search on forums & later found that he has a dispute in the past.

I tried to convince Procon about my concern but we still give him benefit of doubt, for so long yawn.gif

Until yesterday he SMS me said that he's handphone has been stolen, and admit he's taking the money to buy that mixer from another person,  but the person has scammed him rclxub.gif
Anyway he will order a new one with his own money & later update me & procon today, which i doubt.
He doesn't contact any of us today as promised.
This is become more complicated, & with the prolonged delays & stories, I've discussed with Procontavia that we need to settle this case once & for all hopefully before CNY.

Vince i've send you a PM & also SMS you today.... please come in here & explain your situation.
I do hope that we can settle this latest before CNY, or else i'm not hesitate to take any legal actions, which is not good at all....

Speedfam why not you give a dateline to Vince as to when is the latest he should pass me the mixer? Like Vince says Monday on the 19th of Jan 2009 rite?

Give him untill that time (19th Jan 2009) la. If he doesn't pass me the mixer for me to mail it to you then perhaps only then you can consider taking other actions. Or asking for a refund as Vince says above.

I will update you, on Monday if the mixer arrives by then or if not I will have to meet Vince to get a refund.

Btw, Vince so how was the talk with you and Terrence (The person Vince order the DJM800 from)? I have tried to call you several times today, MSN you some off9 msg and sms you asking you about the talk with u and Terrence, but u never reply. Nvm la. Maybe you are busy but I hope you can reply us here.

Or if you wish to spare us the details of the talk btwn u and Terrence, just make sure you deliver the DJM800 by monday.

I hope we all no need to proceed with a police report and such. If we all can settle here amongst ourselves by Monday then it will be good.

@XtOtH3D.. If you have no confidence in the dealer or supplier you're dealing with, don't deal with them. Make more fuss out of it only. And i assume you're dealing through a 3rd party person?

and about deejay_krish case, its been months. Better settle both of their case now. This deal doesn't involve your supplier or dealer, as a genuine seller, its your responsibility with your customer. I also ever get conned by supplier, what to do, use own money refund. This is how things work. I also not rich, not much money, but its what business is all about.

But no matter what i still hope u to do a police report and give me a copy because i also wish to take back my money from the conman and i need a full detail to the police officer that where my money comes from and is true that i m buying for my friend since i had do a previous report . I incline to do any police report on my behalf, coz it was clear that you admit taken the money.

Anything between you and your con episode is none of my interest since i never get any direct dealing with them.
In fact i only deal with Thad initially. You can be consider 3rd party aka DJ Shop in this case.

relax kriss, have your reasoning way with him again for now ; no need for making things turn ugly with loud talk etc. We're all reasonable people, Vince, I've been observing all this quietly all this time ; but I feel I must say this ...

the moment you decided to help your friend, you already chose to shoulder this responsibility should he ffk you. You have to dig him out or pay on behalf of him edy, sorry to say this man... And why are you avoiding kriss to begin with, it makes a lot of us start to really wonder what are your true intentions... If you got stuff to tell him honestly, then do so. You had to drag this matter for so long, now the sheet hit the fan... all involved parties have to headache over this... Sort out whatever responsibilities you have taken over this period mate, including the ones in non-relation to dealing with any of the forumers here (your supplier etc) Get it cleared out.

with that said, I hope you guys can set aside your anger and sort this out reasonably... cheers.

Carson bro, i have nothing to be angry at all. I just want my money which i deal with him directly. Is that much to ask for? Its his responsibility to pay me back. I didn't deal with any third party or even meet any third party. The whole deal was with him and only him. All im asking is for my money back and take his player back. That's all. Can u see the way he replies? Its like he don't give a damn at all. My intention was good and i even drove all the way to his cc to collect the player and check the player there. Its my nature of job. So how can he play up with it like this? We all work for money, nothing comes easy. Its not 1 or 2 ringgit Carson, its 1k plus. So i have to loose the 1k plus just like that? Ive been asking him very decently since the day he vanished, he keeps on conning me saying all kind of stories, i was patient enough, yet still he conned me continuously. How am i suppose to be patient further more? What would u do when someone con u like that? In the end end up saying its not my problem if the third party didn't pay. WTF? Now he end up saying im crapping and he got nothing to do with it at all. So how he twists the story? If he would have told me in the beginning itself that the payment is not possible, pls cancel the repair, i would have done so. But he gave green light o proceed. ITS HIM WHO GAVE GREEN LIGHT TO PROCEED. So i proceeded.

Fam, whats the point keeping the player? Its not even worth the money i paid. The player was in worse condition. I believe its his player but hes just twisting the story that it belongs to someone else. I can see it from the way he twists the story. He knows the player in worse condition, that's y he doesn't wanna take back after repair, and now giving story it belongs to someone else.

This dispute still on until we have strong evidence he can repay back the money.

Krish, if the player was in very bad solution & the cost of repair is more expensive than a new one, you still have the nerve to repair it.
Of course you want to give the best service to Vince, seeing he gave the green light for you to proceed with the repair & now he dont want to pay. Now that's totally wrong!

Exactly, that's the mistake i made. I don't care about the condition of the player as my duty is to repair to working condition and give to my client. That's my job. How do i know i would be stuck with this kind of conman's? I have even serviced equipment for clients which worth more than 8k. Its the trust. Now I'm even feared to repair for clients the next time without deposit.

Seems like i give the wrong signal to Deejay_Krish , well , u should be got a receipt or something when u pay Pioneer , PM Me the screenshot i might pay u half as my best , or maybe i call the CDJ owner come out and discuss about it , since its ur money .

P/S : Speedfamgirl pm me your address as i might directly call my friend to send u the mixer by pos laju and post the tracking number here since i m away this monday and its hard for thaddeus to pickup .

I would like to made this clear, i wont pay anything extra unless i see the mixer in my hands with original receipt included. then i'll pay any excess needed.

I got nothing to con or lie or cheat. btw Vince, if you're going to ask your friend to send it for you make sure that you or your friend wrapped it properly with 2 ply of brown paper, and include postage insurance as well if possible.
No dents on the box & you must paste fragile stickers, stated where is the top as well.

I do hope you get a new mixer as promised, no blemishes & anything not working & smell must be new!

Do you want to have a bad record in your ID? it sure is embarrassing, i tell you.. Vince, if you're leaving for Korea this Sunday, do make sure you still fufill your part of the deal by asking your friend to post the mixer over to speedfam or letting you friend meetup with me so that I can collect the mixer.

Technically speaking if his friend would to mail the mixer to you on monday it would reach you (Speedfam) faster (due to the fact that I need to do a check and wrap it, then post it) but with that being said, I dont mind driving to Vince friend's place provided it is of a reasonable distance. If you decide that I will be going to collect your mixer, then Vince I would request of you that you will provide me with your friend's name & contact number (must be of a working telephone number), and I shall go and arrange a meetup place (maybe a shopping mall or somewhere public like a train station?) with your friend since its a public place, then it would be convinient for both of us (me and your friend). If speedfam and you (Vince) agree that I will be getting the mixer,
then Vince, I guess you should inform your friend that I will be comming to meet up with him to collect the mixer. Or if Speedfam you'ld prefere Vince's friend to do the posting and courier, please inform me as well as to what the plan is. If I am meeting the Vince's friend up, so do I post it to you or do I let him do the posting but check the mixer and take some pictures? But if I am meeting the guy up then, may as well I post it right?? Or u want the guy to post it but I just verify the existance of the mixer? Yes , just settle up everything in my aunt house in seoul here , got problem with the ISP i think , cant login to LYN Forum at all and need to use some proxy software sad.gif . I just received SMS from terrence which is my friend who buy the mixer , the mixer confirm will be in terrence there in late evening today and i had gived him thaddeus number , see how he does . I had ordered him if cant meet up thaddeus , straight proceed the pos laju on tomorrow morning , or today if he received b4 5pm . Seems like everything go smoothly . Cheers .

I'm an offshore worker btw, so any police report i'll settle it once i come back to kuching.

seeing the accused kept avoiding the question about the so-called friend by Procon determine that the terrence guy does not exist.

my suggestion to procon if he knows the terence dj, just give him a courtesy call and ask if he know such a case.

tbh, it looks like he is delaying the whole deal and sort and whether he is in korea or not that's another question.

if anyone that have been to korea, they got superb internet connection btw, just go and check which country in the world have the most and best MMORPG.

Are you sure "POSLAJU" don't have insurance? You have to request for it I think.. Look at the consignment note from Poslaju... Normal parcel will take almost 1 week or over to reach... If Poslaju don't have insurance, you should look for other courier service like Skynet, Gdex or National courier.. In the matter of fact, you just delaying the parcel to reach TS... If he had the guts to still go for a holiday when a business transaction is not done;

he's not worth the hassle. Since u have all the proof and u have the mods support here;

just do what u think is right. Report him to the police.

Just 2 days i didnt login to the forum so many thing happen once again .This holiday i had planned long time ago , why should i cancel it when its just a small case ? In V1 DJing thread i know you came in as a boastful after SPM young boy with rich parents & own a CC, which is pretty good for somebody young like you already manage a CC business & most of common members in djing thread are in their 20's.

Anyway, i dont have any interest at all to really hunt you down & meet you face 2 face...i'm a really bad tempered person in real life, i mean this. but to think about it again it's not worth the hassle....i rather spend my 2 weeks off relaxing at home after a hectic work schedule offshore, thinking about my hard earned money lost really pissed me off but what to do. taking revenge will only makes me no better than those scammers. lesson learnt the hard way. i dont want another people to fall prey to this type of scam again...

I tried to call PosLine today again, can talk to their rep, but their system still down. no reply on my email about the tracking enquiry as well.
Today is friday people in holiday mood now...i'm expecting it would take about 1 week for the office people to get back to their working mood.
Unlucky if this may affected the post service also.

Look, i try to delegate as polite as i could...you said i'm flaming? lol...although at times i can feel the rage between me want to burst up, typing harder at the keyboards & my eyes blurred with anger tears initially when i know what happened, waay back on 28th December 2008.
I waited in vain, holiday was ruined & mood was poor. I can't help it by typing some swear words...you can imagine more in real life coz i'm kinda rough person.

If everything goes smoothly I think it's worth the apologize, besides that i'm reminding myself it's far from ending.

No Vince, $1450 is only partial payment of it. I have sent the quotation of pioneer included my services charges and transportation charges in the invoice i sent u to ur email. Didn't u check it? Transportation charge is not included yet, mixer button price is not included yet ( the one u ordered personally from me ), Labour charge of servicing is not charged yet. The player's lens was re aligned and serviced even before was sent to pioneer for motherboard and other board replacements. The player was fully serviced before sent out for motherboard replacement. Its not easy to repair this things Vince, it may look simple, but the one who repairs it knows how tough the job is. The charges from pioneer is only about the parts they replace and their service charge. You have to include my service charge and transportation charge and parts charge too. Vince, u have to remember, ure getting a new set with all boards new inside. Ur set was filled with water corrosion inside. That spoiled most of your boards circuitry lines. That's y pioneer had to replace most of the boards and some of them had to order from japan ( The boards can never be purchased from pioneer as its their rules to replace the boards with the set brought in for replacement. That's why it had to be so expensive ). So all the complete charges are $1624. You can open the set to see yourself most of the parts are new smile.gif So basically you're getting a new player with old body, that's all.

The condition of the player is superb inside, the housing outside is as same as u gave me. MKI and MK II and MKIII all using diff panels boards and motherboards. They cant be mixed. But yes, if you want the player to be MKII then its possible as its just a minor modification to the motherboard to play mp3 and so on. But i must remind u, its not gonna be cheap. Just for ur attention smile.gif All parts inside is as original factory default parts from japan. Yes once i get the payment through maybank deposit, provide me the address, i will deliver to u the set and will test in front of u smile.gif Once done only i will leave. The player is urs smile.gif Its a good set as cdj1000 series no matter if its mk1 or mk2 or m3, its all in good series. Ive used all 3 of those and i can say all 3 versions are the best still in market. The diff between those 3 series, only the functions and additional options such as mp3, and some minor effects and functions, other than that, those 3 series inside the mechanism all same. Only diff on functions and additional features. Pls do take note i can only deliver the player to u after 4 pm as im working in daytime. If the payment is banked-in in the morning, i will deliver the set to u after my work, which is after 4 pm. Pls contact me on my mobile 0143258807. if it does reached the pusat mel kuching,
you can straight go there at Pending and present ur IC to collect it.

the posman from pusat mel kuching, very lazy one.
i experienced it, whereby i tracked my item and it reached pusat mel for few days dy' but no one deliver it.
phone up the pusat mel itself, the guy said 'bla bla.. if urgent, u can come pending here to collect it urself.'

coz Pending & my house is quite far, may take you up to 30 minutes if you drive a bit faster than your normal city drive.

one of the forumer here suggest to hold the parcel , i had tell terrence to hold the parcel . I scare speedfam cant get the parcel because she didnt receive any callcards , and the websites state is callcard issue . My suggest is just for speedfam to think about it , since the mixer i need it also .

ALRIGHT, Now that i've managed to get online at starbucks here...sucks the internet is so slow!.

I'm very sorry for not updating this thread, i'm just come back to Kuching 4the Feb evening.
My family has just moved in to a new house, there's no internet.

So on the 5th morning i go to the post office to collect the item, without the call card found. I've asked the postmen there about the status & & bring along the tracking number. it was confirmed failed to deliver, i saw in their system.
But the item was not there, so i urge them to quickly look for it.
Initially i dont see the physical of the parcel, so i assume the box is big & heavy, with electronic goods worth RM5000 to them.
I even call the on duty posman whether he did see the item. He promised to looked for it & will contact me on Friday.
Apparently, the post guy seems pissed off coz i blatantly accused them losing the item & it was big & expensive...then the postmen scolded me for not being patient. I dont care, as long as i settled this thing once and for all, although it involving many parties sad.gif

Friday 6th, the posman called me in the morning stated that he found the item. so i go to collect it back from his office.
When i arrived there i was so shocked to see the parcel is so small! and of course not worth what i've imagined. I feel humiliated!! vmad.gif
There in the office stood few guys & their boss as well, acting like thugs wannabe....they all sneered at me!
But i ignore them, take a snapshot of the item in front of them so that they know my business is really serious. mad.gif
Anyway, they should not questioned customer's parcel anyway...it's their job to ensure the thing is there when people come to collect it, not just simply said 'the item is lost' vmad.gif

And Terrence has write a wrong address as well on the bogus parcel.
No wonder i cant get the call card, instead of 23 he wrote 43 for the house number, and wrong taman too! shakehead.gif .

Ok, enough with the stupid postmen story....here's what i got for today.

So Vince has called me yesterday & today stated he would refund me the money. Now I'm just waiting for him to refund me today, at least half of it 1st becoz he said that his transaction limit only 3K..

Update, 6th Feb, 12 pm noon....Vince has banked in rm3000. another 1600 is after 12am tomorrow as promised.

As soon as i receive the full payment i can say that this case is closed.

despite we have lost much time about 3 months already.
lesson learned the hard way, i'll be extra careful next time....
anyway, i've learned so much in this process as well, how to deal with difficulties & stay calm...although at times feeling pissed off.

Updates from Vince regarding payment for repair of Cdj1000 :

Vince has made a payment of $500 this morning to compensate partial repair expenses for the set and he also adviced that by monday if no answer regarding collection of the player, the player can be forfeited and can be sold off to cover up the remaining balances as the player can be only sold for a very low amount as its couple of years old and its the first edition of cdj1000. Anyways Vince kept to his promise to reimburse the partial payment and he did as promised. Thanks a lot for that Vince. And hoping to hear from u on monday rolleyes.gif .........Regarding speedfam's issue, I hope this will be settled out too and we all can close this thread and continue our lifes. Nobody in this thread are worth cheating as all of us seems to be very understanding throughout the whole thread and quite honest. Cheers.

speedfam, post that picture to the authority of POS. This nasty A**hol** should be punished for being bloody rude and sacarstic. Its their bloody job. Ask them to **** off if they are not happy with their job. Send it to the authority of POS a.s.a.p. Ok one thing i appreciate is at least end of the day, Vince is trying close and solve our issues unlike some worse ones in other dispute threads. I think For me and speedfam, as long as the issue gets solved no matter money or item, its solved in the end, thats all we want smile.gif. Cause no point fight over this either, its not gonna give anything end of the day.

There's still have doubts,

1) no weight recorded by the consignment note by the parcel.

2) by laut is ticked and by udara is crossed? ( vince say use air delivery?)very confusing...

3) no hp number to call.left blank intentionally?Did they(posmen) try to phone the so called "terrence" no to equire ts no?

4) Vince say want gorek who out? and rushing ppl to clear the details.

I smell this tactic is like " buying time"....Did Terrence know that know that u guys are dealing with serious case here?Looks to me either he is very buzy or carelessly handling the parcel.TS did u ever suspect it was a printer ink from the time the item posted?

but since its refunded.Case solved.But still remained many questions.

The sender address is existed , i go gorek him already but no one at home , only one old aunty there say terrence not at home . This is what i think , he planning to send u with a wrong address and give us wrong info , then wait for the parcel return and drag the time . From the dispute case start until now , i didnt give bullshit lame reason for the mixer status , i just say what i heard . But since everything goes smooth now , i think is a good ending .

so the plot is like this...

this time is not Vince do the posting, he is in korea at that time, he dont even know the mixer is posted or not because all is by terrence

and end up that terrence is the one to be blamed. He sent TS with a wrong address and give us wrong info , then wait for the parcel return and drag the time and
he didnt do any explaination. Then finally speedfamgirl get her money back after 3 months of worry & headache. and case closed!!!!!? The end!

Been following this thread for quite a bit. Was there any actual evidence that Vince was actually in Korea?

Even if he may sound like hes trying to make up for it and seem innocent, the deal at the end (the pos laju and the ink packaging thing) is already shady. Like someone mentioned, there's too many questions. Even if in the end, Speedfam got her refund back.

Deserves a dispute rating IMO, especially with a previous account that had a dispute rating. If it was so easy then everybody who had gotten a dispute would just make new accounts for a fresh start?

Never mind laa that posmen & their hell department also same attitude, all act like thugs wannabe when i arrived there Friday morning. Tak guna vmad.gif lucky i managed to escape from there unharmed.
I was ready with my Resident Evil fighting strategy if everything goes nasty at that time.

After the incident i urge my relatives who wnat to send in their parcel to use other posting service instead of Normal Pos/Poslaju since it's still the same guy who work on our route of destination.

But anyway, i've moved out to a new house & hopefully i'll never had to see the dreaded posmen again, ever!

Oh yeah, in case you all wonder how a Pioneer DJM800 looks like, waaaay bigger than an ink cartridge

Why not ask Vince to post a scanned picture of his passport stamped leaving Malaysia for Korea on those particular days. This can pretty much verify most of his fairy tales stories.

ok, who in the right mind would use POS MALAYSIA to deliver such expensive things?

and next time, i think people who take the photo of the item before it being delivered, heck take a picture of the docket or whatever paper along with the parcel.

this way POS don't get to fool around. and no one does.

ermm I have posted nearly RM3k of my rig in the box using the pos domestik before.

but it was wraped nicely with a hard box and clear writting on the consignment.Snapped few photos b4 sent.

Heck it only took 3 days to reach me in sabah from pelabuhan klang.Dun ask me how I'm shocked too.

Not sure or not whether it's the same delivery posmen for ur area,
I think they got different workforce.

Afaik, poslaju got a separate depot at different site.
Also located at Pending area, somewhere Jln/Tmn Perdana,
a very large empty land with a collection/delivery warehouse in the middle.

The Poslaju at the Pusat Pos Kch is only a small collection counter.

Goldfries, that was my terms & conditions with Vince before if he would like his friend to send the item to me.
You can check back the last post a few pages on the front of this thread.
That's why i asked for Procontavia to send in the item, since i had given him the postage money.
It was my initial plan.

Oh yeah LanEvo, karma is a b****....for sure the humiliation i get will somehow get back to them.
Dont ya worry, God works in a funny way. I have collected enough SABAR all this while, i think i'm lucky to have my money back, even though so many difficulties incl gaduh with the posmen, which was not really worth my time & energy.

this case should be close rite now as the victim's had been refunded. i just hate it when people want to use lowyat as a free interest loan. at 1st, ya la, forgive and forget. lama2 dah bosan wo. i got fed up with this free interest loan. he should received a dispute tag. and i think evryone agrees.
