make sure the virtual key is running at background.

and which icon do u mean ? your gps ready d ?
*
Yup.. VirtualKey set to run in the background. The icon I'm talking about is the GMXT shortcut icon under the "Apps" section. After clicking on it to execute GMXT, the splashscreen appears for 2 seconds or so, then the program quits itself. Will try reinstalling GMXT later..

Using version 5.00.20. Tried restarting my phone. The Garmin splashscreen appears.. but the program quits itself after that.  hmm.gif

Hmmm..strange. What firmware version is your Tube on? Mine is on v11. Do you have any other apps running in da background? Best to close all those apps, except Virtual Key prior to running GMXT.

BTW, have u installed the other supporting files e.g.:

a. v4.xx.xxx Support File,
b. v4.xx.xxx Basemap File

For Garmin, make sure it's the latest version.

On another note, My Red 5800 purchased during the launch at Pavilion still haven't exhibit any earpiece problems. thumbup.gif

Apart from GMXT, u also need to install these two supporting files. In fact, from a website it mentioned that u have to install in the following order:

1. v4.xx.xxx Support File,
2. v4.xx.xxx Basemap File
3. GMXT v5.00.20

All the above files are to be downloaded from Garmin's website. Links as below:

http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection....ct=010-11034-00

Also, apart from these 3 files, u would also need to copy to Garmin folder on your Tube the Malaysia map (e.g. Malfreemaps). Link as below:

http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewforum.php?f=23

Once the above are done, then only you can enjoy your GMXT... Happy GPSing..

Cheers

Ok. I know how to do it already.

Menu>Applications>File Manager>Backup>Option>Backup Now>Yes(in memory card). Then wait for it to load.

Then under the Option>restore.

Now I know. I have created my back up already.....

Bought one yesterday, for 1400 ringgit.
Pretty good so far
couple of screen glitches
a little lag sometimes
and sending it to repair the phone speaker.
