Just a note to those still looking for a proper screen protector; the Nokia kiosk in Giant Kelana Jaya sells properly-cut 5800 screen protectors. Got mine for RM5. You might want to check stock availability beforehand though.

QUOTE(hvaly @ Jan 16 2009, 09:36 PM) i think that sp is not good enough. i got mine from giant too. scratch it after 2 hours i using i wanna look for a decent sp that can last longer and less screen interference .. even RM 50 also nvm Hmm, maybe the Martin Fields protector would be better then, but I wonder if it's properly cut? QUOTE(hvaly @ Jan 19 2009, 04:51 PM) make sure the virtual key is running at background. and which icon do u mean ? your gps ready d ? Yup.. VirtualKey set to run in the background. The icon I'm talking about is the GMXT shortcut icon under the "Apps" section. After clicking on it to execute GMXT, the splashscreen appears for 2 seconds or so, then the program quits itself. Will try reinstalling GMXT later..

Best to close all those apps, except Virtual Key prior to running GMXT. BTW, have u installed the other supporting files e.g.: a. v4.xx.xxx Support File, b. v4.xx.xxx Basemap File Rgds My tube is on v11. Supporting files? Hmm that's new to me. Can you please fill me in?

QUOTE(deejay73 @ Jan 19 2009, 05:48 PM) Apart from GMXT, u also need to install these two supporting files. In fact, from a website it mentioned that u have to install in the following order: 1. v4.xx.xxx Support File, 2. v4.xx.xxx Basemap File 3. GMXT v5.00.20 All the above files are to be downloaded from Garmin's website. Links as below: http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection....ct=010-11034-00Also, apart from these 3 files, u would also need to copy to Garmin folder on your Tube the Malaysia map (e.g. Malfreemaps). Link as below: http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewforum.php?f=23Once the above are done, then only you can enjoy your GMXT... Happy GPSing.. Cheers Added on January 19, 2009, 5:50 pmBackup your contact first before sending lor.. After reset, u still can transfer back.. Correct? Rgds deejay73, thank you very much for your assistance

QUOTE(zackloy @ Jan 22 2009, 04:25 PM) I actually set it to save on the memory card, sometimes when receiving a message, the phone warns me that there is an error and switches back to the phone memory. It has happened at least 4-5 times. I'm suspecting the read/write speed between phone/memory card is sometimes not fast enough resulting in the error or it really is a bug. Any way to merge 2 memories? Hmm.. I got this problem also. Not sure how to solve it.
