Boost is owned by optus if i'm not mistaken.....All boost starters are sold in Optus.

Besides, not many people use Boost so you've to calculate how much you save in:
1) different network calls
2) same network calls
3) international calls

If you feel that you call often, I highly recommend signing yourself to a plan because not only do you get quite alot of credit per month, you get a cheap phone as well!!

i'll be thr for only one year (mayb around 10 months only) since i'm on exchange program, so a prepaid is a much better choice for
and i believe i will text more than making calls, so i guess boost is more suitable for as they offer better rates

I've got 1 pack of 5 maggi. 1 pack of milo 3 in 1. 1 pack of Chipsmore.
2 bottles of vitamins and 1 strip of panadol.

But even with these, my friend said the bleeding customs might take 1 hour to go through. I've put them all in 1 suitcase to ease their search. Hope I won't be unlucky! Early in the morning I'll be reaching. Don't be in a foul mood. Please. @_@

That would be vista, you will find all your subject materials there (lecture notes, online quizzes, assignment info/submission etc). Currently your courses might not be up in vista yet, but they will appear soon, so don't worry about it. If you still don't see them by week 1, you should then email your course coordinator about it.

Why even bother with 5 packets of Maggi and Chipsmore? Those are non-essential items and can be bought in Australia. Without those items, you can take the green lane and save yourself some time.

What for bring in such stuff? Causes you more pain in waiting and I believe all three are liable to be confiscated anyway, so you waste your time for nothing

Vista is the site that contains all your course material.

Most schools use that site but some lecturers have their own external site to distribute their material. The lecturers will let you know where to get your materials in the first lecture.

Dont worry la.

Hi, I just arrived Melbourne to enroll for Diploma in Engineering at Monash College, Clayton campus. So far I'm having trouble on applying accomadation. Since the hostel are full and I'm still staying in a temporary accomadation in South Yaraa and it will be hell lot trouble for me to get here and there.

Well all I want to ask is, what is the procedures to get myself acoomadation?? So far, I just send some emails to some rents posted on the notice boards, and only one of them replied.

You could get a prepaid for the time being.Like Optus's Turbocharged.
