a few people i know share and download at different times,no problem. just have to find someone willing to share a measly 2.66gb limit  |

it's really streamyx fault for slow download speed
some ppl said 60 series of ip is good, but these days my area has much better speed and stability with 118 series for both RS and MU |

stupid q here. how do u know what ip u're getting? i hv a wireless router on at home so when i get slow speeds, i usually just reset it and the speed is back up.

Anyone else experience this...
 For some reason, some of my downloads get to 100% or 99% and just refuse to complete... I've had that particular download at 100% for almost an half an hour now. currently my log shows ip ranges from 65.xx (freegate proxy),60.xx (screamyx) & 121.xx (maxisBB)..still doing fine right here.. just as long as no simultaneous different ip logging in,thats all... |

You can use the TrafficShare, go to your Setting page to convert it to your daily bandwidth or direct link for your file, means user won't have to wait before download and can use download manager to download the file. |

rapid manager is the one most used by others. There's a portable version on it too on that bb board everyone goes i think

Just wanna ask if anyone experience this kind of problems.
When I arrive at my office, I try to download files from rapidshare but off lately, a week or wo, It seems that I can't even connect to their server (rapidshare's). Usually the connection is blazing fast ( approx 120kbps ) in the morning but now only after 9 am or 10 am their servers seems to work. I am using Celcom broadband with 1Mbps "so-called-unlimited" plan. Tried pinging to rapid's server but timeout'ed. I can't even access my rapid's account nor access their webpage. Is this a way of TMNut's plan of throttling to free up BW? Pls.. any input. |

WHo want to share RS account with me? I got 10gb limit that expired on June 2009. Kinda waste since I'm downloading only little. the price is 110. so we share 50-50. RM 55 each person. its already good since 1 month 2.66gb is RM 20x5 = RM 100. Just plus RM 10 and we get 10gb limit instead 2.66gb. Anyone who interested, can PM me. Currently no way to do it (at least that i know) to prevent it if you have no rapidpoints in your account. You'll have to manually set the files to download from another account if you have it. Of course, if you generate 2-3k of rapidpoints daily, using them to download from that acc if bandwidth finish is normal

but when i get 60.5x.x.x,i get half speed.. so maybe 60.48 is the better choice nowadays? maybe... |

No matter what IPs I get, I can max my download speed to 140-150kB/s with no premium account.
I notice that the cogent servers do no good to me, so the only choice of servers that can get full speed for me is Teliasonera server, Level Server and lastly the Teleglobe Server. Have a try |

lol, i only know of trafficshare and rapidpoints
is there even such thing as traffic points? traffic share is kinda like a paid bandwidth if u run out of quota, u can use this said amount for downloads u can also create link for free users using this traffic share u have rapidshare points are points u gained when ppl download the stuffs from the links u posted(uploaded) the points can be exchanged for goodies, or rapidshare account extension/creation |

there's an option to utilise it in the settings
check it out anyway, if your account was created before oct 26 2008, and have not expire yet, you will get 50+gb of traffic share |

Happens to only one one file? I've similar problem, but mine is generalized. I'm using Jaring wireless ISP. Most of the time download wills stuck at weird percentage. I can't download it even when I download the same file from different server. |

hi. my location is kota kinabalu. n im using 1mb streamyx, IDM to download.
last semester my download speed vary between 150-200kb n occasionally over 200, and rarely drop below 100. I came back this sem, n just purchased 1 acc, n i noticed that the speed is between 50-100. hitting 150 is consider a luck to me. i dun really understand coz last sem i use wireless, n now im using direct lan cable. no way speed can b affected. is everyone facing same problem? i thinking selected server instead of random RS server, but dunno which one to choose. any idea? |

Geez, since when did they limit premium download limit to 2.6gB per day. This really blows. I just finished download 1 movie and "you have exceeded download limt" What a blow. Even my free user gets full speed and unlimited, just no multiple download

guys, I think my acc just been phish...but the acc itself is still secured, it just my trafficshare and rapidpoint has been used up...even my trafficshare are now negative (this is the actual number [-3525gb])...my reserved trafficshare also zero...how the hell can it be negative
 so frustated...tot that the security that rapidshare put can protect this problem from happening... btw, I always check my trafficshare and last time I check around 7pm yesterday, its still ok with many trafficshare, and now this happen...zero traffic suddenly anyone else have experience this kind of situation? free user cant resume their downloads.

Let say my premium account expired, what will happen next? Am I still be able to login with the account as collector? Will the files that I uploaded previously as premium user remain active? In other word, am I still be able to earn points from there? |

Hey guys. Im having an uber slow download speed for rapidshare/megaupload/netload.in and also slow loading for the megavideo's videos during the day & night time. I could reach my maximum speed during morning @ 6-7am+. I just realised about it few weeks ago.. But i could simply download any youtube mp4 at my full speed (480-500kb/s) at anytime.. I'm currently staying in PJ, with a 4mb streamyx connection. Is it website server problem, or streamyx?Anyone could enlighten me? thanks in advance

So, if your IP of 124.x.x.x works fine, chances are it will work fine with rapidshare. There is the art of choosing the right rapidshare server. you have to know tat these accounts bought from unauthorised resellers might be stolen or phished some might be sold to multiple ppl, tat's why cases like these happens most likely even the person selling to you do not know bout it also, as he/she is likely to get from some1 else etc responsible seller will usually replace the account though |

i dont trust IDM speed figures... it always seems over-rated compared to the figure stated on Local Area Connection (On our computer)....
when IDM states 180KB/s.... L.A.Connection just around 130KB/s. |

nowadays hacker are getting smarter wey...don't underestimate them...if they can hack all the top corporate website with no sweat, this one should be piece of cake only...next time don't go 2 illegal website wey...then you won't get high chances of getting phished...lesson learned

I'm using IDM 5.15 for the last 2 months.... but after a week did not start my computer... IDM states " the software is not registered after 15 days"... i registered the keygen again but it won't work anymore. I reinstall the software but same thing happend. "registry key has been damage since the last run" show up. anyone can help? tq.

I don't whether its DAP causing the problem or whether it's RS but the speed is very unstable.

I'm sure you'll be given a "special" attention for your case as they did to mine 1 minute it's at 90-120 KB/s then it drops to 10-25 KB/s and so on and so forth. since last night about 4pm, been getting very poor connectability with all kinds of IP.
RS download will be a yo-yo of 0 to 60kb/s (mine is 512 line) with avg maybe 10-20kb/s only. |

Well if you call up shitmyx there's an announcement about package maintenance for several areas in Sarawak - Kuching, Miri & Bintulu. Then there's also KK. According to the annoying lady on the phone it'll be on February 9th 7:00am ~till~ 2nd March 12:00am. There's also some kinda maintenance going on for Kota Kinabalu.
Im from Miri and so far shitmyx has always lived up to it's unstable speeds but only since yesterday not once have i reached maxed speed capacity for my rapidshare downloads. I hope it gets resolved soon. Atm i'm getting an average 20-40kbps which fluctuates rapidly. I've been monitoring for about 16 hours now and i've only managed to download 700mb worth of files. |

i want to ask, my streamyx package is 512kbs. so basically everytime i download as free user, i get around 35 -45kbps. when at office, i can download free user with 100kbps (my office is 1mbps streamyx package)
so will it be faster if i become a premium member at my home? or my streamyx 512kbs package will limit the premium member speed? |

yea from my experience users with 512kbs connection(premium acc) can go up to 80 and 1mbs (premium) can go up to 160 .. free user i dunno.. to all those asking for links, click on my siggy or PM me for Premium accounts..

I normally max my rapidshare downloads... so I have no idea why you people are complaining. Some mirrors might be slow, if that happens I just switch mirrors or reconnect to a diff IP and I get good speeds all around

I personally tried downloading from Rapidshare with 115 IP and get bad speed using Level and GlobalCrossing download gateways. However, speed maintained at 70-80kB/s when 115 is paired with TeliaSonera and Cogent. Perhaps you all could try that post some feedback here.

I have a question here about Rapidshare when dealing with dynamic IP. I remember getting a warning email from Rapidshare saying the account was shared and show the statistics for each of the IP within a 24 hours period when I only one person using it... All I know is that due to how Screamyx works by giving you a dynamic IP on the fly what is the max limit of IP that Rapidshare allow before it reset my account password? So confuse coz I try google about the problem and all I get is info on how to kaw kaw squeeze Rapidshare free user limitation... |

At least I know that my account is still safe wat. I know lately Screamyx have been acting up real bad even at college also international line is bad oledi.. Still downloading stuff atm at 5KBps to 120KBps. Speed fluctuate liek nobody business. o_O |

it's (edited: MAYBE) the problem of screamyx since i check when i download from rapidshare only the server name cogent works normal....other is slow like hell...even the official website of rapidshare is slow like hell...beside, im a premium user. normally can get 150+KB/s, now only crawling like 20-40KB/s...some server even download at below 10KB/s...god..... update : It's properly problem of screamyx...cos just disconnect and connect back...Cogent became slow...while Global Crossing became fast.....shittt...don't tell me this sreamx is start to block bandwith to rapidshare.... I think theres problem with rapidshare. I can load youtube and stream video there as usual. Its html, i dont think streamyx can block rapidshare, dont they? Oh well.

sigh.. previously as free user i can boost up the download speed til 80 ~ 90kbps... but now walao.. the speed below 10kbps

btw i only get 50kbps when using premium acc..=.=||..
i tot fast oredi...but others get 100kbps++...wtf.. why ar?... |
