rapidshare website can open but downloading not working at all...seems that international link downs is the culprit...

why does my download speed only 50KB/s maximum?? my internet speed is 100Mbps sape2 boleh tolong? |

May 27, 2009 Several optimizations on the RapidShare network code have been taken place. It is now possible to download a single file with over 100 MBit/s (where available) if you are a premium user. Furthermore the general speed feeling when browsing our page should have rised significantly. However, to make all this possible, the maximum speed of free users downloading files has been limited to a maximum of one Megabit per second. Hurray for premium users      Free users download speed will be limited to 1Mb = 128kB = 1024kb  Added on May 28, 2009, 3:33 amI just did a test download with a 123.54MB file as a free user at 3 RapidLeech servers and here are the speed results: Server 1 Time: 16 minute 54 second Average Speed: 124.45 KB/s Server 2 Time: 16 minute 58 second Average Speed: 123.94 KB/s Server 3 Time: 16 minute 56 second Average Speed: 124.34 KB/s I also did a test at a private RapidLeech server with a premium account and here is the result: Private Server 1 Time: 1 minute 32 second Average Speed: 1380.12 KB/s This post has been edited by ibnuasad: May 28 2009, 03:34 AM |

can anyone tell me how much speed will i gain from 512 screamyx package for premium account? i got 60-70Kb for free user... been thinking of getting one... thanks.

limiting speed now? i dont think so...
at ~100Mbit/s,that translates to > 1MB/sec if i'm not wrong.. when using my uni line + proxy,i seriously can get speed like 3-6MB/sec...now using wireless,so a tad slow... at 700-800kB/sec... |
