Hello guys,

Came across my old jacket and seems like I have put some weight and cant button the jacket properly.

Is it possible to alter the waist for me to properly button the jacket? And would appreciate if anyone can advice a good tailor for it as well.

Other option for me, well is to lose weight

Just had a professional writer produce an article about wedding suits. I quite like it myself.

To become a customer, it is necessary to order a suit. Shirts and odd trousers can then be tacked onto the suit order.

Once a person is already a customer, he can order anything in any quantity he wants. One shirt, or one trousers, etc.

I bought some TM Lewis shirts.
Size is 14 1/2, 32
I understand that the 32 is sleeve length, anyone here can enlighten me the measurement is from where to where? And it is 32 inches, right?

Yes 32 inches. IINM it is from the middle of the base of your collar band to the end of the sleeve.

hey guys.. was wondering if you all could point me in the right direction as I'm in unfamiliar territory..

I will be having my wedding reception at the end of the year, and am looking to get a suit done, have done some read ups and as my event is not entirely formal.. was thinking of getting a 2 or 3 piece done..

My queries are as below:
1. As I would like to reuse the suit for other formal events, would a good color choice be Navy?
2. What would the price range be around? Could I get a decent set made for less then RM2K?
3. How long would it take? end to end from first consult to end product?

The full suit that I tailor made in Bangkok few years back was not that good... I guess they did a rush job as it was ready within 24 hours

I think people need to start understanding that quality in this instance takes time. Spend >600 to get a poly blend, half canvassed machine made suit made in less than 3 days is horrible. Why not spend a little more, MTM/Bespoke for something that will last you for probably a decade.

Any tips to protect mother of pearl buttons from cracking during dry wash ? Sent my suit for dry wash and it comes back with most of the button cracked , replacing the buttons is not expensive but still ache my heart knowing my beautiful buttons crack so easily.

Have never had any MOP buttons cracked from dry cleaning/wash before. Are they genuine MOP?

Peak lapels, patch pockets, Neapolitan construction. Cloth is Carlo Barbera Riserva 1911.

Anybody care to guess location where this was shot?
