Hi, I am looking for a suit for my wedding end of the year, december. Most probably looking for a tailored one since I can use the suit for a long time.

I had a few recommendations from friends, but just asking here to see any other recommendations.

Budget maybe below RM2k for a full set?

Anyone heard from Ron Ng Tailor? A review: http://ruecardengineer.blogspot.com/2014/0...uit-ron-ng.html

And got ppl recommend me Wardrobe and Bespoke from 1U (but I think these 2 are over my budget)

Thanks in advance. smile.gif

And I just saw Star2.com show Lord's tailor: http://www.star2.com/style/men/2015/07/30/...eams-come-true/

By appointment, I suggest you meet up with him for a chat, there is no obligation to outright purchase one.

It should be around 1.6k for a set of suit and pants.

Hey guys, i just bought my first suit off the rack and it fits really well other than the fact that the sleeves are about an inch or two too long.user posted imageThe jacket also came with faux buttonholes. Can anybody comment whether it would be possible to cut the sleeves at the top of the top button(about 2 inches), thus completely getting rid of the buttons?

Couldn't resist posting this here. It would be criminal for me not to.

A three-piece suit in Holland & Sherry's superlative Shannon Linen. Easily the best linen I've encountered. It's for a wedding in Sicily.

For his wedding in KL, we made him this tux with grosgrain shawl lapels.

Not sure whether this is the right place to post this but for the price of 200+ bucks per shirt, would it be possible for me to get it tailored or should I just get it from outlets like Brook Brothers/Sacoor instead?

Heard quite a bit about them. What is the time frame from 1st appintment to 1st fitting, 2nd fitting, finished product?
Can they do within 2-4 days?
Have you made a suit with them ?
*
Yes I have done a suit with them.

1st fitting was after 2 days.

They are not the Bangkok Tailors that rush a suit within few days.
At least 2-3 fittings. So if u are in Bangkok for less than 4 days, can forget about having a suit done with them.
Shirts yes, but if you are looking to do a suit... no where you can get a good suit in 4 days smile.gif
Can email them to discuss your itenery, they are very responsive.

Also no walk-in, by appointment only bro.

But the Customer Service is good smile.gif

Met up with Jeremy last Saturday, got my measurements done and ordered a 3-piece Navy Blue suit, can't wait to try it on.

Jeremy was very patient and accommodating. smile.gif

Basic 2-piece is RM1600, but I opted for a vest to make it a 3-piece (+RM500), and opted for a special patterned blue/gold lining (+RM150), amount up to RM2250.

Haha, I am not really familiar with his online persona, as you can see I usually hang around in the Android geeky section. tongue.gif Plus this is my first ever bespoke. biggrin.gif

He mentioned for the whole process about 2 months, with 2 fittings, first fitting 2 weeks after measurements taken.

You can check his brochure here: http://jeremytok.com/home/jeremytok/files/brochure-1.pdf
