Finally i got my very 1st CAR; Persona (HL)

So far I'm satisfied with the car except 1 thing; while taking corner, there is some noise on the stering. Need to check with proton!

mine chip off....around 5/6dots.... ....this time cut cost on paint....the thin coating is super thin..last time i put a bucket of water also minor scratches.. ...and then the windscreen also, seems that easily get chip off also if stones flying from lorries..but not on other car even old wira/waja dont have such problem ...last time interior & power window... ..i think few years time, the car sure have to respray again...

Speaking of respray, how much does it cost for a decent job? with thicker clear coat and all...

the last time i ask for respraying the bonnet...cost 180....whole car maybe 1k++

Anyone facing these problem.

1) Sound "Klok,Klok,klok..." When run on uneven road, the sound feel like coming from absober, feel like something loose....

2) difficult to engage to 2nd gear......

Any solution???

Which SC u sent to solve these problem? coz i try send to 2 different SC before but they cant solve the problem for me.

just print this page and bring to them and ask them to do the things listed..

i see. 1k ++ for a good quality job or for the same quality found on stock personas?

i dun think so cuz newer batch of protons all using 2k paints edi so i dun think i'ts goin 2 b cheap unless u goin 2 spray cheap paints~

My car has this issue as well...need to check it out..

well.....today when and fixed this problem...and mine also has the rusty line same like urs....added soundproof mat that is thicker and the sound gone....(for right now)....so guys if u have any rough sound occur around 1100rpm-2000rpm when u accelerating/free rev ur car...get the impact bar fixed... ....and on the way back, i didnt feel the 100km @ 2800rpm vibration....

It seems like all Persona's come with this sound. Just read from another forum that apparently there is a solution for it finally but don't know if it is true. Perhaps you guys might wanna try. Here's the excerpt from the forum:

"I've complained about the metal clanking sound, and apparently they've found a possible solution for it. This sound is caused by the STEEL POWER STEERING HOSE knocking on other surface, thus the klank sound. They've come out with a POSSIBLE solution by replacing the steel hose with rubber hose, but they did not change mine because some owners have complained that the rubber hose will crack in matter of weeks, so they have temporarily pulled back this solution. Maybe in the future they will replace this with a better grade rubber or synthetic rubber that can withstand heat better.

You can visit Autoworld forum, where a person has it fixed and he says the problem is gone. I can't confirm this as I haven't tried it myself.

hmmm...maybe u can try request for coating the steel hose with some rubber or soundproof mat (insulflex)....at least dont have metal to metal contact.... check out the soundproof mat sold....so imo...coating that can solve the problem as got no metal contact with another object and thicker too...

ya my car had this prob too..my car just aged almost 4month but mine is mostly while taking a left or right turn on uneven road dunno same prob like u guys onot
