i cant wait to join the list of Persona owners but, still waiting for my loan to be approve. Hopefully by this week, its been more than a week.....

I have a suggestion for obtaining my car no plate, i havent got my persona yet, so as my loan is havent approved. In this case am i able to booked a running no at jpj, then later on after i received my persona, i register the no to my car? Please advise anyone?

Can i booked the running number, the free one?
And can i trust the number for the next day? I mean, let said end of today the last running number is WSE 1XXX, then tomorrow it will reach to 2XXX rite? So i can go to jpj the next day to get my favourite running number between 1XXX - 2XXX.

Added on January 10, 2009, 9:35 amIC, then i should wait my loan to be approved liao. The bank guy said next week mon/tue will know the status. Hopefully they approved faster cuz if can, i wanna get my favourite number through the running number instead of paying RM200++.

Waiting for almost 2 weeks...but they said by this week the loan will be approved...hopefully...i cant wait for my persona!!!!!!

I will get my persona soon, but I'm wondering for the road tax sticker which is quiet difficult to peel off when renew road tax.

My question is, do anyone have any idea or solution to place this road tax on another material? Meaning that, whenever i peel off the road tax sticker i want it to be easy & doesn't affect my windscreen tint.

Finally i got my very 1st CAR; Persona (HL)

So far I'm satisfied with the car except 1 thing; while taking corner, there is some noise on the stering. Need to check with proton!

How the hell they said its common?? Damn! if like this whenever we take corners, have to listen to that krkkkkk! sound on steering like dumb!

I will take this matter once my car reach for it 1st service and ask them to fix it.

i guess the sound on my car steering are similar as heavencloud, just i pronounced it in different way.
Anyway, although i turned up my audio volume up, still can hear slightly of that sound on my steering....hopefully can be settle when my car reach it 1st service.

For the petrol rebate, you MUST claim it before March 31st 2009.
Hopefully you can get your car before that.

I just claim for my persona last week...just go to any pos malaysia branch, bring together with your I.C. & ask them petrol claim form rebate, fill it up & then kaotim already!

today i sent my persona for 1st service, after change oil and others it cost me RM 123 ++.....then i complain them my electric window mirror had slight sound whenever press the button up and down...not very smooth.
Then they replace the motor..then its fixed! But guess wht...my front left speaker is bend...wtf!....then i ask them to change it but, unfortunately they said no stock at the moment...so, they said to me need to wait for 3 weeks for the speaker claim...damn!

I notice my faulty speaker during to my electric window mirror repair time, if not i dunno about it.....anyway...now just waiting for my speaker claim.

Added on March 27, 2009, 1:34 ami'm planinng to change my stock rim for an after market rim...basically switching to 16 inch rim. I've survey some tyre shops at puchong, the prices for tyres & rims are varies from shop to shop.

I need your guys recommendation for tyre & rim shops at puchong area?

Wht do you guys think about falken ZE522 tyre?

I've changed my stock rims & tyres to the after market ones......but my persona just 1 month old...so, if warranty is void, it is only void for Tyre and rims section ONLY right? other parts should be fine right? E.G. aircond, steering, electric window mirror, speaker and etc.....

Please advise any personarians...

A: Yes.


- Is the seat belt indicator functioning or it doesn't have this feature?
A: It has the icon on the speedometer but, does not function even though you are not buckle up.

- Is there a rear fog light?
A:No. It has ONLY front fog lamp.



- Is CAPTOR alarm in-built?
A:No.


- And lastly, any complaints about the latest batch of Persona?
A:I'm a H-LINE user of 2009 batch persona, so far i had minor issues
e.g. electric door mirror not closing smooth enough; while taking corners, steering had slightly sound, front speaker bend. only those issues
only. So far so good, i love my machine

What do you meant by 'front speaker bend'?
A: meaning that my front door speaker is "twisted" at the small middle round thing at the speaker, i dunno wht name to called it....then i claim from proton & its fixed already.


About the electric windows, can we add another layer of tint film above the original safetint?
A: for my persona i tinted double layer tint....so far at morning ppl from outside still can see you (minimum) but at night ppl from outside hardly can see you unless you drop down the window mirror. FYI the safetint is "SUCK" look liked didn't tinted at all. my advice you can proceed with your preferred layer of tint. My tint is from TINTMASTER and its good. (JPJ Approved)
