from what i know, yes...

9800gt is G92 architectural platform or something like that, which is older tech...

but for most games, 9800gt can still handle....

he did set the fan to 100% .
anyway, my GTX285 is running 75% fan speed at all time .
still considered quiet .

Ive opened before 2 of my gtx260 for watercooling. Quite scared at 1st but when know which screws go 1st, its quite easy.

I dismantled my XFX GTX260 last time the first thing I got home because I wanted to see how it looks like and replaced the thermal compound smile.gif It's very straight forward because the screws are all the same except for a few in the middle.
