but can only on par with it..

lol..MSI just only announced to the new product MSI 275GTX lightning edition 1792mb version..no review yet but as their 260GTX lighting edition overkilled a 275gtx 896mb reference card..so probably this new card would overkill a 285GTX reference card..

max is 1.2 2.15 but the matrix stock cooler cant handle it..
sorry i have a 24 only atm and it doesnt support 1280x1024 so all 1920x1200
gpu clocks were tested with OCCT gpu at 2 hours, furmark 30 mins and ati tool lowest setting for artifact scan for 4 hours

I actually pity MSI's RMA department because of a nutter idea from their marketing and R&D division.

since its claimed to be "military specified parts" which to me, the dataheet and requirements for the certification looks pretty normal.

Together with the Lightning OC software ( which allows a measly +0.075v over default, which is well, nothing, since rivatuner as well as nibitor has allowed up to +2.0v )



Its like giving the keys to a M1 Abrams tank, which the driver is a total noob. can you imagine the unfathomable damage that will be done?

military grade is just a 'name' and to really call it a military grade, it requires special license to own it then

peasants shouldn't be having military grade equipment, only goldfries can own it, because he is /h/ and /ocu/ commander in chief

wanna ask u a question izit worth to change from 9800gtx+ to gtx260?

it's not the question that worth or not..
it'a a question wether u need or not..

off course performance of gtx260 overkilled 9800gtx+..
but if u feel that 9800gtx+ is enough for u and ur computer spec then u do not actually need to change..
dun worry cz 9800gtx+ is pretty much enough for normal gaming nowadays..
but if u still insist to change,go ahead,because price of gtx260 is consider worth the card ady..

well i change from the 4850 which is the counterpart of the gtx+ and im pretty happy with the jump in performance.i can maxed out most games and enable at least 4xAA except crysis(warhead included) and gta4.

hahaha finally found the limitation of my acbel ipower 450w

when oc my msi n275gtx the clock only can set to

gpu=738
(higher = shutdown)

shader=1150
(higher = shutdown)

memry = 1180
(higher = shutdown)

it should can reach around 740/1600/1300

so now hunting for power supply hahehe



btw: using rivatuner and furmark...wooho'

im newbie here,is it normal if yellow dots appear on the ati tool when i scan for artifact ?and what is the slider use for ?i oc using rivatuner.

those yellow dots are the artifacts. try to correct your oc settings.

ic,there is no problem with the core clock.i think i cannot move the memory further already.Later i post my oc detail.
