what on earth? u put your opened rig right beside an air con? that's a very low load temp i must say

he did set the fan to 100% .
anyway, my GTX285 is running 75% fan speed at all time .
still considered quiet .

Well, those thermalpad is terrible only when it has a lot of dust there, it will break easily when u take the hsf off.
But i always put them back and working nicely too.
So far, i take off all GTX hsf before, evne it's 295
