Just finish setup a pc for my friend , same setup with me. this is the result after using furmark burn for 30 minit. both card apply Tuniq tx-2 thermal compound , sitting in CM690 close panel, same fan setup,running at stock speed,100% fan speed.

Zotac gtx260amp2 (65nm) running at 650/1050 max 72c

i am so suprise to see the result.

Im also running the same cards on sli, and i totally agree its reference cooler is quite good in maintaning temps, mine idles bout 55-58C and load nvr exceeds 80C. thumbup.gif All in a CM690 with 3 intakes using CM stock fans, hahahaha.

@Traveler
If ur running on reference cooler, then those temps a generally there . . . it is still reference cooling. Nways these cards can take upto 100+ ish C, dun really know the exact figure . . . on the safe side just assume 100C MAX.

i think that becoz trifan cooler only blow the airflow to the card and didnt transpiration the hot air ,so the card getting hotter and hotter? hmm.gif
*
yup thats the negative part bout it, it blows the hot air from the cooling fins . . . and all the hot air released will only recirculate in the casing.
