Do you guys tried the FM radio on this phone? How is the quality?

Mine has a lot of interference no matter how I try to put phone and the headset.
I tried MyFM, MixFM, LiteFM, HitzFM, OneFM, 988....
The only channel that works fine is LiteFM.

I heard Garmin TX v5.00.020 will drain battery right??

i'm using garmin v4.something

very very stable and no battery issues

i heard garmin 5.00.00 has no battery issues as well, only versions .10 & .20
anyone knows?
i will try that later today, if it still persists, will try out v.4

The search address is not functional if you download the free map from Malsingmaps. Those with functional search address feature are using the 229 Gold or newer version of the map. Those are the cracked map, or they made contribution to get it.

I regret getting a E71. The phone is powerful and size is super small 1 thing disappoint me Screen so tiny. Sometimes i need spec to see

Yeah, they update the map quite frequently. And those custom logo, nice .....

Guys, I got garmin mobile XT and then I got a non-crack gamrin map of australia which I supposed to put it in the phone.

I tried to put them in the same folder, but it doesn't work, any pointers?

anything that u wanna search, do it in food section. it's just like that.

i recommend that you upgrade your firmware..but since yours is an AP set, i'm not sure if there's any additional steps you need to do cause if i'm not mistaken your IMEI number is not the same..maybe some one here who's using AP set can enlighten our friend here bout upgrading to the latest firmware..i know some one did it..

never regret getting E71..one of the powerful phone currently on the market..i was a tough choice for me between E71 and 5800 but in the end i wanted to know how it feels like to use a touch screen phone so i got the 5800..i wish i could have bout..but something gotta give

My previous phone was a iPhone 2G. Got pissed after it crashed during a very important call. Loved the qwerty on the iphone.. so started looking for qwerty phones.

Was planning to get an xperia.. Till I saw first hand how thick it was.. After finding out that the E71 is 10mm thick.. with GPS, wifi b & g... answering machine function... Pretty much realized I found the love of my life.

One question though. Apart from Grey Black and White Silver.. are there any other colors?

is it the city navigator 09 version? i have that too, just copy it to the garmin root folder, it works. maybe you forgot to install the basemap and support files? my maps could not load until i installed those files.

btw, how do you guys use 2 maps with garmin? i read that you are supposed to rename the second map to garminsup2.img

malfreemaps dont seem to work well with me..it can detect the map, but i cant search any cities, address etc. any idea?

installed garmin v. 5.00.00 so far everything is ok, need to monitor it and see if batt life goes doen the drain.
