its call autofocus its suppose to focus automaticlly not force it to focus

but even i open close up mode in barcode scanner, the AF is still not working also.. i know the problem la... not i forcing it to focus. i know the different when it's focusing or not focusing.

Thanks for reply. I managed to solve the problem. Just deleted some of the .sis files in memory card and the auto install problem is gone.

As for the Garmin problem, it's solved too......but this one is strange because I didn't really do anything and out of sudden, everything work again ;-)

Guys I already installed the Nokia software updater and when i wanted to update my firmwire.
it appeared that my current firmwire is 100.07.76 (correct) and the update is 110. 07.127
why the update firmwire is not 200.21.118 which is the new one, any idea ?

just change ur product code number to europe's product code number... coz the firmware 200.21.118 is only for europe product code numbers.. other than tat u wont get it

1) has anyone of you encountered the following before?

some applications in memory card has gone when i install a new application into the phone.
i restarted the phone, but those applications still cannot be seen in the application manager.

tot that this might be a memory card problem, i remove the card from the phone and slot it back. Now even my
mp3s, ringtones, documents, applications in memory card has vanished. I tried to locate the mp3s, ringtones and documents in the file browser but to no avail.

2) if i proceed to format the memory card, will i be able to get all the files back into the formatted memory card thru the nokia pc suite?

yup. it's only for certain product code only. try change to singapore wan.. can update to latest firmware without problem..

sounds like your memory card is corrupted..never encounter the situation like yours before..the only problem with E71(at least me) is that if you connect the phone using USB to your comp to transfer your files and stuff, once you plug off the cable, go to file manager, select the memory card, it stated "Memory Card is in use"..have to reboot the phone when this happen..

i only have this weird problem with my e71. After i installed application in my e71 and move it out from the installation folder. Later suka suka i install more stuff later u notice why some games or software will end up back in the installation folder
