N the e63 is thicker + plasticky..No stainless steel parts.. Pay abit more for e71 .. u wont regret!!

i no regrets since i am using e71. but for some ppl tat likes e71 design but low budget and camera + gps + hspda not important their choice is e63

guys, is there any silicon skins for e71? because im afraid that if i keep using my fingernails to press the keys, the printing will fade off.

why dont u just cut your finger nails?

There is. I have one. But it doesn't cover the keyboard if that's what you're hoping for. Just the D-pad, soft keys and call/end button.

I did, but you can never be too careful.

I'm still not able to decide whether to update my firmware or not..
Currently using the ancient firmware (100.07.76) but so far quite happy with it..
Should I update to the latest firmware or should I just stick with what I have?

-.- HSPDA is 3.5G means internet speed can go up to 7.2mbps

E63 only support until 3G so max speed is 384kbps thats if u do subscribe to your telco unlimited data package

E63 have video call but web browsing u cant reach 7.2mbps only.

HSCSD is a different thing.

If you dont hack your phone, I'd say update.
Just go to your MEMORY and create a backup, then restore after the firmware update. Everything will be at its original place.

What is the difference between update using the Nokia Backup and using the phone to backup to the Memory card?

Ok, thanks for the info . i won't be doing any heavy surfing or downloading when i'm out and i don't need the 2mb camera coz i got my p&s camera. So E63 might not a a bad alternative, considering it's much cheaper that E71. I saw few thread selling slightly over 1K, which shop u said selling 800 ++
