if you have original warranty try not to change it. But if u own ap phones like us in malaysia and the warranty is not covered by NOKIA but 3rd party company we can always do that
*
thats the problem, mine is the official Nokia warranty and any problems, I have to go back to them sad.gif
Have you tried the new firmware? Hows it going for you?

BTW, I tried Mobitubia, its a nice piece of software.

i followed her guide too, it works, i can confirm that, but my battery life went down the drain. Although I deleted the cardrunner.dll file, battery life didnt really improve, so i removed it.

Have you tried restarting the phone, and then try to log into GPS again. Does it still requires <10s?

Do you think if I am using Nokia Maps, can I get the map license of United Arab Emirates and access to the GPS there? I'm going to UAE next month.

How?

Download the theme to your computer and bluetooth the file to your phone or transfer using a card reader, then run the file from your phone, it will install itself.

Thanks but im still having problems download the theme onto my computer.

For example:
http://www.symbianthemes.us/free,nokia/10296,neon_v2/

next page would be a barcode ( I have no GPRS, so my phone can't download the thing). and when i click "download" - It would send me to some other non-useful places.

Any pointers?

For symbianthemes.us site, what you do is click on the download link (from the page you linked, i chose the version with custom icons) and it will take you to a page with the barcode. all you do is replace the words .download behind the address with .mobile

Example:

http://www.symbianthemes.us/free,nokia/102...TA4NzY.download

after replacing should be :

http://www.symbianthemes.us/free,nokia/102...0MTA4NzY.mobile
