Ah, I see. Many things to learn..hmm laugh.gif

Well depends on the lecturer. I'm gonna have a different lecturer after CNY for god-knows-what reason. If still stick to the current lecturer, definitely multitask laugh.gif

Sometimes I really do take down notes with the iPod Touch if it is a short one that doesn't really require me to write it down. biggrin.gif

Some lecturers mind very much though. I remember once when a new student came in for our American History class, she was taking notes with a..uh, something like those kind of small digital dictionaries, kena scolded by the lecturer like hell sweat.gif

Only applies for mathematics classes laugh.gif

Oh and, do apps take up a lot of storage space? Since mine is the smallest one, 8GB, wondering if it'll get filled up very fast.

Edit: Typo

Not really. Depends on what apps you download. Can see from the app's description.

Ah, that's good to know. Plenty of space for audio files then thumbup.gif Don't think I'll be going through the trouble to convert my avi/mkv files to mp4.

I converted my mp3 files to AAC format in 128kbps as the sound was very similar to a high quality mp3 file, it saves space and playing a 128kbps file also consumes less battery power. biggrin.gif

Oh, didn't know lower bit rate consumes less battery. What program do you use to do the conversion? Does it take a long time for the conversion to finish? Though I probably would only take this sorta measures when I'm running out of space, or if it makes a big difference for the battery consumption.

I am using 160kbps aac, the quality is better than 320kbpa mp3. Both file I convert straight from audio cd. Aac sounds more clarity while mp3 is ok only. Aac definitely save lots of space. I load my touch with 300 songs, all 160kbps, total around 1.2gb something.

16GB is sufficient for me actually... I only have one video and 700+ songs, not forgetting 11 downloaded applications, and this takes up around 4GB of space... Which means there is still a healthy 10GB available for use! thumbup.gif
