That was what happened to my 3G nano, kena darn a lot of scratches and smudges before i purchased a transparent casing in Singapore in March 2008 (i got that nano in December 07!)...

Which is why i bought that Coolcase for the iPod touch BEFORE even getting the iPod itself... At least the touch is protected after it is removed from the case and can avoid kena all those nasty marks and lines!

apparently there's a manual sync option in itunes. i've never tried it before so i can't vouch for it.
but try turning off auto sync and it should only charge right?

anyone know how is the size of a movie for ipod touch? I mean normal length movie lo, like 1 and half hour or 2 hours long one.

Get an external USB charger, any charger that has a USB port on one side, so you can just plug your cable in and it will charge.

I bought my from Australia for around 20 bucks (RM50) and so far i haven even connect my ipod to the computer for 2 months lol.

Wah, no need to sync ur songs meh? Until didn't connect the iPod to ur PC for 2 months?

Nah, i got a 16 gb and i don't listen very much to songs.

I just need a personal PDA lol.

The problem is to sync WITHOUT charging.. Very surprised that no app would allow wifi sync. I can control Powerpoint, Keynote, VLC etc via wifi but can't sync? What a waste..
