WTH is wrong with people here? It has been discussed so many times, even on this very thread, why do people keep repeating the st*pid advice of removing the battery??

that was for previous models, like the G4 iBook & PowerBook.
for current Intel-based MacBook & MacBook Pro, please leave the battery in smile.gif

I leave my battery in my MB all the time, doesn't matter much...

I remember last time (4 monts ago) I watch anime with my MB when I travel from JB to KL, and that day caught in slow traffic, so took me about 5 hours to reach. And in that 5 hours, I was watching anime all the time, until I finish my anime...I still got battery for me to do other stuff like go online with my usb modem for about 1 hour maybe? I set my brightness to 1 bar, using earphone, bluetooth n wireless off.

From my experience, my MB is able to reach 4~5 hours when browsing on wifi and doing some typing. depends on what program u are running.

Surely can't beat mine. My battery now doesn't even last 5 minutes. It's officially dead but I don't have the moolah to get a new one right now. Haha

My battery life is kinda sad now.

Used to last like 4 hours on Mac OS
Around 2.5 hours on WinXP

Now it only last like 2hour plus plus on Mac OS and 1.5 hours on WinXP ...

I never use my mbp battery since the day I bought it. As one of the Apple technical guy, I always trying to avoid using battery. Believe it or not my battery charge cycle is still 0.
