You ordered? From where?
Maybe the tailor can just join two pieces to make one. |

Keep me informed about the experiment. The reason you want to line the linen is because it is so damn transparent?

its so transparent yet the open weave of it will make it probly the most cooling / breathable pant,,,,bad idea for unlined pant especially for a person that doesnt wear underpants----will keep you informed, this is going to be project no.5

I discovered some old pics of my first ALT suit. They were taken in someone else's (terrible) apartment with a much better phonecam than mine.
![]() In my haste I buttoned the wrong button, but look at the shaping of the jacket! ![]() This jacket in currently undergoing repairs and pressing at its maker. The breast pocket sewing is torn from my stuffing in a PS hurriedly and the thing has lost most of its shape from being thrown into a car boot with a lot of other things for several days. based fr the pics, im guessing 3/4 jacket length required for lining----e.g a 2mtr jacket would need 1.5mtr lining,,,,but i might be wrong
thx for teh pics the ALT shirt collar looks nice,,,im guessing 2 3/4 collar point + 1 3/4 back collar right? |

He said he needed another meter for the pants. So I walked all the way to Binwani and back. When I arrived back he said, wow that was incredibly fast. I wanted to say, wow, I'm not 65 years old.thx for teh pics the ALT shirt collar looks nice,,,im guessing 2 3/4 collar point + 1 3/4 back collar right? That is not a ALT shirt. It's a disaster made by Chicago Tailor in PJ SS2. I had a closeup of the piping which I posted here but I can't find it anymore.hmm wondering if i should make another sports jacket... not sure what colour/material yet... I went for a light oatmeal linen ... designing my own patch pockets in AutoCAD on company time hehe ... they will be the grooviest ever. Added on March 31, 2010, 10:33 pmLeft pocket is the hip pocket. As you can see, it's somewhat hacking. Right pocket is the breast pocket. They have not yet been scaled to the right measurements, and are merely concept studies. ![]() Added on April 1, 2010, 1:32 pm ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by kotmj: Apr 1 2010, 01:32 PM |
