does anyone here have an experience withdrawn from akpk program?
*
Guess no?
Most of the people gained their debt from early 20's.
Only reaching 30's will seek for AKPK's help.
By the time settled if lucky already 40's. Still have the time to online?

i just recently withdrawn from AKPK. Let me share my story here.

i have 6 debt bank, joint AKPK on year 2009. Citibank (3k), MBF (3K), UOB (3K) , MBB(5K), RHB (5K) and CIMB (5K).

During Jan 2015 when i check my latest outstanding amount only i realize that MBF over charge me 1k and RHB over charge me RM500. I write in email and call to Ambank( Ambank was took over MBF) and RHB and even walk in to their HQ try to solve the issue for almost 1 month finally RHB settled now and Ambank still pending checking.

So for all member who still in AKPK DMP please always check your outstanding balance as some bank will over charge you. And also remember when you plan to do full settlement, do call to bank request for discount/waiver.

And also when you dealing with AKPK, please give them at least 2 weeks working days as my experience recently was bad and email replied from their PIC was so rude. I keep sending email request them to check something for me but nobody reply and today i received a reply email from one of their PIC, below is the professional way on how the PIC reply:

Pls take note that we have thousands of customers to attend to and we need time to process your case. As instructed, we have already excluded the accounts which you have fully settled and a letter was posted to your address.

As for your concern on the over-charging by your lenders, kindly refer to them for an explanation. AKPK does not have any agreement with your bankers. The loan agreement is btw you and banks that lend you the money. AKPK did not give you any money and AKPK also did not help you to pay any money to your bankers.
[COLOR=red]

Last gentle remind, please keep the statement/agreement between you and bank so that you can have accurate outstanding figure when after few years you gonna do full settlement.

One of my friend exit from AKPK program since November 2014. Till current date, he is not applicable to apply any credit card loan or personal loan because when you join akpk, your record stated something N28 or NE28 or also knows as red flag status(no more loans for u) shocking.gif

when join akpk or already exit it, banks consider the person as "high risk" thus Hard or No loans for them nod.gif

It depends actually. I see some of my friends after quit akpk still manage to get credit card with high limit.

It depends how many assets you have and there are different policies for different bank to approve you

i see... my friends case, he didnt manage to apply anything being approved. Maybe coz of his past debts too high & many outstanding payments that total of 1MIL in debts.

Sometimes it has nothing to do with being in AKPK or not, just simply his past records. Banks have risk management process to determine if they want to give out loans to certain individuals and they will have their own method or calculating those risks.

Being in AKPK is more likely a correlation to the likelihood of being rejected for loans rather than a causal point. After all, people do not go to AKPK because they are financially well off, so more likely than not their past financial records would have been very poor to begin with.

I was with AKPK on Oct 2007 and exited Oct 2010. Can't recalled the exact figure when I seek help from AKPK, but is roughly between RM50-60k.

Once I exited DMP, I got my car loan approved Jan 2011 and my Credit card Feb 2011. From 2011 onwards till now, I got approved 3 properties loan, 2 car loans, 5 banks' credit card.

It's true once u get into akpk ur name will fall into " high risk' or special attention account. But once u settle off, after 1 year u can reapply for credit card or others loan facilities. subject for bank approval =)
normally bank practice is 1 year after settlement of akpk

too bad then.
My friend till now keep on asking me lend him money. I charge him certain % upon paying me back...
I also state that if pay me late, i charge him extra rm100 depends on how much he borrow from me. biggrin.gif
At times, he borrow 1k from me, so if after 1 month no pay me back, i charge rm250 extra. So he owes me 1,250 back. But if after 2 months pay me not enough what he owe me, i charge him extra % ....haha..

i am currently doing that to my 3 ffriends who like to borrow money from me. brows.gif

Check with the bank bro. Not all bank are the same. It could be due to AKPK, or due to your current debt-to-income ratio, commitment-to-income ration, risk appetite, etc...
