Obviously the MSI N275GTX Twin Frozr is better in both criteria.

You were comparing performance and temperature earlier. Overcurrent is a feature in stability/power delivery criteria. How many graphics card have you seen so far damaged for not having the feature? laugh.gif

No problem. The old legend is, well, old legend but still if compared to Red Scorpion, both are on par. The successor to Red Scorpion, the Achilles is slightly better than the old legend though.

HD 4670 eh?? I got a few questions on this..

1. Is it possible for an ATI card be used on nvidia chipset motherboard? If then, I'd definitely pick an ATI card since they're cheaper and worth the money.. drool.gif

2. Whats the difference between using an ATI card on an nvidia chipset than using nvidia cards on nvidia chipset itself? Are there any disadvantages or advantages in doing this?

3. Are there any difference in installation method or perhaps some tweaking are required? Or is it the same as installing an nvidia card?

BTW, how do I clean my speakers? The dust thats inhabiting them are disturbing me.. The dust kinda gets inside the diaphragm.. Its the squishy thing that vibrates when you turn up the volume.. They look fragile so I'm afraid it might break if I squish it too hard..you know blink.gif

1. no prob at all...and there are many question like this before
2. amd chipset some able to support CFX.. so u able to CFX with ATI card.
if nv chipset, cant CFX..thats all..depends on waht chip and what mobo ofocs..
same goes to nvidia..able to SLI on certain board and chipset.
3. plug into the slot. plug power cord if any..boot..instal driver..same both 2.

Nvidia cards on Nvidia chipset may provide Hybrid SLI depending on the chipset... It consists of 2 main features, which includes GeForce Boost and HybridPower. ATI gc on Nvidia chipset will disable these features.
1. GeForce Boost enhances the performance of ur gc by combining the power of the built in gpu and ur graphic card, but it only supports the older cards (8xxx series cards).
2. HybridPower on the other hand, focuses on lowering the power consumption to cut down ur TNB bills. It switches to the built in gpu when u're doing stuffs like watching prawns, or it switches to the graphic card when u're playing crysis. tongue.gif the 9xxx series up to gtx280 supports hybridpower. (ATI also have similar stuff, but only for notebooks with ATI gpu. not desktops)

Despite not being able to activate the above features, ur hd4670 will work just fine no matter what kind of chipset u have. dont even bother to get a mobo with ati chipset, cos hybrid crossfire only supports the old HD2xxx and HD3xxx card series. and dont worry about power consumption too since it's the hd4670. just be sure not to install the nforce driver provided with the mobo. just install the ati catalyst driver which is included with ur gc (better download the latest from the net) biggrin.gif

5870 is comparable to ATIs own 4870x2. Which means it is better than the GTX 285 and yet slightly behind the GTX 295 on occasions.

5850 is almost exactly on par with the GTX 285.

hey guys, just wondering, can i stack 2 fans together? cos my stock AMD heatsink has 70mm fan, and i wanna replace with 80mm fan, but it wont fit. so can i just put double-sided tape and place the 80mm fan on the stock 70mm fan? will it increase or decrease the airflow?
