None of Cooler Master true power PSU is equivalent to Silverstone ST50F around RM200. An alternative to that would be Xigmatek NRP-PC502, slightly cheaper than the Silverstone, also 500W true power

QUOTE(MrSars @ Aug 27 2009, 03:16 PM) Oh i see. Thanks for the explanation. This? Yes, vacuum generates static electricity which can send your components, if not the entire system, straight into the junkyard. You can use a vacuum with tiny hose to remove the dust on the fans, but never use it near any other electronic component.Another question: I heard that if you vacum your pc there will be a electric static that will damage your pc. So the question is: Is there any vacum made specially for pc (that will not produce harm to pc)? If got, please show me and perhaps with picture and price especially that can be obtain by buying at Lowyat. AMD Dragon Platform is basically a combination of AMD Phenom processor, AMD 790-series motherboard and Radeon HD 4800 series graphics. Worth it or not, that depends on the overall specifications. |

QUOTE(our_team89 @ Sep 2 2009, 01:20 AM) guys,it is worth if i want to change to ddr3 now just for gaming??is ddr2 ram still playable for upcoming 2 years?? If you have the extra cash, go ahead. Otherwise invest on something better like graphics card which gives you way more oomph! than upgrading RAM. |

QUOTE(our_team89 @ Sep 2 2009, 05:39 AM) ic..coz mayb i want to upgrade my mobo to crosshair II,but soon msi will launch ddr3 SLI mobo..if i want to buy msi mobo,i have to upgrade my proc n ram also..since u say like that,i think i will buy crosshair II.. Having your eyes on MSI NF980-G65 eh? another one question, what the use of v-sync in gaming??i dont see different to much between on n off.. V-sync or vertical synchronization just simply makes the rate of frame displayed on the screen the same as the refresh rate of your display or monitor. If you turn it on and your LCD runs at 60 Hz, you get 60 fps (frames/second) and not any higher. However, if your graphics card is capable of displaying the frames much faster, you will see artifacts, so this is where V-sync comes into action. You won't see any different if your graphics card produces almost the same frame rate as your display refresh rate. |

QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Sep 2 2009, 03:56 PM) meaning with current spec, i dont need to waste on psu? nice to know that. Recommend you getting a new PSU, a customer of mine had his 9800 GT burnt due to insufficient power. Your total power consumption at full load with 9800 GT is almost 380W and taking the 450W PSU with roughly 60% efficiency into account, your rig is underpowered.mm... 4850 much better than 9800? does it need to connect with psu? sorry for the questions.. and thanks for the responded HD 4850 is definitely better than 9800 GT, also requiring an external PCIe power, and most importantly, consumes more power than your current PSU can provide. |

QUOTE(soldierdie @ Sep 2 2009, 06:22 PM) I don't quite understand your sentence, you mean finding a suitable ATi driver for Windows 7?QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Sep 2 2009, 08:58 PM) That doesn't reduce the power consumption much either, merely 40W difference. It might work but your system might not be stable either. |

QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Sep 2 2009, 10:03 PM) either way, i need to change my psu. CM eXtreme Power Plus 500W is sufficient. Huntkey is not recommended unless you're low on budget and your overall power consumption is way less than its rated power. Even though it might be rated at 550W true power, it won't be as reliable as other brands. Its price alone justifies that.so, the psu hunting begin.. ~~is cm extreme power plus 500w enuf?? and what about with this huntkey psu... some said good, some said cap ayam |

QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Sep 2 2009, 11:18 PM) yes, its price is very low compared to another branded psu.. No problem, and this is where we share and learn ok, thx bro.. still have lots of noob q. no wonder mod had created this thread btw, my currect rig wont bottleneck the 4850 or 9800,right?? Your processor, at 2.00 GHz stock speed, will bottleneck the HD 4850/9800 GT. Try overclocking if possible |

QUOTE(yuka @ Sep 3 2009, 01:05 AM) For this particular Intel motherboard, it only supports up to E6700 which is 65nm. You can check the rest of the supported processors here |

QUOTE(kimimaro_kun @ Sep 4 2009, 07:23 AM) Well, the eXtreme Power has peak power of 500W, not continuous 500W except Real Power Pro and so on while the Silverstone has true power of 400W. Both have similar amperage but the Silverstone is slightly more power efficient. |
