Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if I want to buy an good external sound card for my lappy (Dell Inspiron 1420) to listen to music with, across multiple genres like rock and classical and ethnic, etc., what soundcard would you guys suggest that is not too expensive? I only can budget like < RM300 as the rest of my expenditure has to go to buying new speakers (Edifier C3) already. So I don't mind even if you rec the high end stuff, just that I don't have the funds to buy that. Thanks in advance!

that depends on what extras you mean,if it means new graphic cards then that's probably not needed as they are bcoming more and more power efficient

Both PSU and Casing doesn't help improve anything for gaming. PSU = support other hardware PC Casing = better airflow, heat For gaming purpose = Proc, Ram, GC
