i wanna upgrade ram
mine is 1gb ddr2 667
if i plug in 1gb ddr2 800 ..
can this 2 ram work together?

yes but the 800 will be kinda downclocked to 667.
and i believe it will work as dual channel.

guys.. my samsung 932b+ lcd needs more then 5 minutes to start up la.. after turning on the pc, everything runs fine but i cant see anything from the lcd... must wait for more then 5 minutes before everything appear...

what wrong ah?? time to change??

How many years you use the lcd? I think it is time to change...

my old casing , the USB port is behind
then i am changing new cpu but not casing , the motherboard can fit the casing or not?

because new casing the USB port all infront 1.

Better change to a new case, your case is too old.

i bought a demo unit.. maybe they put there for quite some time already.. haiz..

btw, wanna ask.. is it a MUST to stick some tape on the mobo tray screw holes before putting in the mobo??
previously the shop help me stick some tape on it.. now, after spraying the case.. forget to stick it back..

the problem is he dun let me buy new cpu, so i have to use back old casing.So that he wont know xD.

my old casing USB port is at behind , and new casing i saw the USB hole infront ler.

Like that my old casing can support ?

what magic tape? ask the shop people what's the purpose


front USB is extension only
use ruler to check space of inside area & back I/O
then you got no problem.

1:what is the different with the amd2+ and amd 3?
2:what is the different with the value ram and performance ram?izzit much different if i upgrade it to performance ram ?

1) AM2+ supports DDR2 while AM3 supports both DDR2 and DDR3 memories. So, AM2+ processor won't fit into motherboard designed for AM3/DDR3 but AM3 processor fits into motherboard with AM2/2+ socket with DDR2 and AM3 with DDR3.
