QUOTE(teNtiOn @ Feb 19 2011, 11:43 PM) dior is famous for the cutting and probably the brand, not really the denim.. look else where like the one you mentioned FH or RJB, if you're after better denim's quality.. how do we get the best of both worlds? dior cut and good denim quality. suggestions?kotmj: i'm curious as to how you pull off those shoes with outfit. classy's the word for them. Nice pic kotmj!
Dior Homme 19cm raw is one of the most expensive quality jeans you can find, not because it is superior to others in all aspects, but because no matter how you see it, it IS still designer. And everything designer comes with extra zeros behind. But their cuts, especially from Hedi Slimane's era (pre 2009) are one of the best cuts around... ever. Now, Dior Homme is headed by Kris Van Assche - who is, regarded by DH jeans fanatics, as merely recycling washes and not getting creative enough with them jeans. He is better at designing clothes and jackets it seems... and has not done much for the jeans department. But DH 19cm raw MIJ is still following Hedi Slimane's cut from 2006/2007. If you browse through the sufu's dior homme jeans thread, you'll see some beautiful fades... all singaporean guys pics tho. They have a friggin boutique there ! DH is non-existent here. Hard to get in Melbourne also. |

Been waiting for Uniqlo selvage to try to get into the game. Hadn't been wearing jeans for years and had a sort of 'revelation' about them last year and started wearing them. The fits on kotmj are convincing. Might get a pair in a few weeks.

it's obvious they are raw just by the pics of the selvedge. the selvedge is still pure white. if they were in any way soaked/rinsed the indigo would run and dye the selvedge a light blue.
