Wtf? Stun! Nudies 50%? Wtf! WHERE?!!!!!!!

You can't get into an Average Joe at your usual size? Then you'll have to try another cutting. I'm sorry I can't be of any help, I'm usually Slim Jim...

But you're in brissy =/

Harbourtown in GC rocks. I got my Levis for $59 there ;D

Ksubis on 30%? That's quite a bargain. Hmm... I'm quite sure David Jones would never put a counterfeit product in their store. After all, they cater for the upper class...

Talking about Super Dry, I was wondering if their selvedge jeans are worthy of the price? A whopping RM600~RM800 if i remember correctly.

Anyone know anything about this jean, show me some pics and give me some info please. I don't mind proud comments. I just want to be comforted that they make nice jeans, and I'll be heading off to get them soon ;O

This is the premium selvedge jeans thread =/

The word premium is there, for a reason?

These aren't your regular Giordano or Lee's or CKs we're talking about here. And also not a place to flash your branded goods, which really doesn't mean a whole lot to selvedge lovers anyway.

Nudies cost around 150~299 Aussie here, depending on the stocks in individual shops. So I'd say, you could get a pair of Nudies for anything from RM 400 to 800 in Malaysia? Just a rough estimate.

He must have liked doing splits as stretching exercises when he was sick of tracing invoices and bill of ladings?

Will be going back to the shop tmrw. I've never had any experience with Aprils... I know the price is slashed like what... 40%, but still, are them good denimz? biggrin.gif or shall I get myself some slim jims instead?

Added on April 23, 2010, 9:47 pmEdit: I never had slim jims before, and they look like a good fit for me.

Right, here's my recent purchases.

@ attacusatlas and marsalee,

sorry, u 2 denim heads, but I couldn't make it to the General Pants store for the Aprils/Nudies. I spent too much time checking out SuperdryJeansJpn. Apparently its a UK label... I didn't know that. And the store persons in charge seemed to know their stuff, so I was quite happy.

It was A$189.90 a piece at original price, but I was browsing through the new DFO (Direct Factory Outlet in Melbourne) and I was like... OK I'm getting two!

Won't say anything for now, letting the comments flow in biggrin.gif

Will show my fit soon.

Oops, sorry marsalee... haha.. forgot to reply your post.

The raw one is freaking stiff and rigid, if that's what you're asking o_O

I seldom see selvedge even on the insides of the jeans, which attracted me to this pair

Hmm? Which DFO would that be? I've only been to the ones in the city..

Well, DFO is kinda known for a place where the factories dump their warehouse excesses there for bargain prices. Actually, I'm kinda intrigued by this... they change stock every season, so there are usually 5 clearance sessions... spring, summer, autumn, winter, christmas/boxing day.

And it doesn't cater only for the lower end brands... even Burberry, Mossimo, Dotti and the other ladies designer brands are at the new DFO... I'm really quite surprised. But I don't question their authenticity at all though. It has been serving me well these past 14-15 degree days at uni...

w00t w00t! Even 16oz is too hot for Malaysia... but those that don't sweat a lot should be alright with 16oz.

I'm thinking, it'll be a waste to get heavy denim if you perspire easily. That's cause you naturally sweat. And if you sweat more because of the heat, it'll make your jeans stink, and you have to wash it sooner than you want to obviously, and that's just gonna be sad.

Well, time to post my fits on my 14.5oz pair - I found out that Superdry is not really known for its denim, but more for its jackets, jackets, jackets, two particular T-shirts (Osaka and Athletic), and their backpacks. But still, their denim isn't half bad. Top quality rope-dyed japanese selvedge denim with a good fit, some good stitching, double selvedge, copper rivets, hand made, jap-denim, coin-pocket selvedge and even the yoke is selvedged (the yoke of jeans) and cheap too!

Its exactly like what's going on in HypeBeast on the Urban Outfitters Unbranded (raw selvedged 14.5oz jeans) (UO generated some hype over at HB)

10 picts of ma fits biggrin.gif

PS: I envy your IH a lot weyh, layang2! biggrin.gif

PSS: After 1 week's wear 24/7 (but as a student, i sit down at my desk a lot)

Thanks... I know I'm skinny. Shouldn't have showed my arms. Its freaking hard to gain weight for me sad.gif
Chinese saying ppl always tell me is "what a waste, feeding rice to you" sad.gif

Trying to build up my thighs and calves as well so I can fit better in straight cuts. This is a skinny cut.

The jackets are mostly leather jackets. There are the dull leather and shiny leather types. Mostly very rugged and macho kinda jackets - a lot of bikers go for it.

These are actually ripped off the net, I don't have any. They cost a bomb.
