13.25 oz refers to the weight of the denim.
*
thats the problem.. its not 13.25oz... its 13,25oz... as stated on their website.... http://shop.nudiejeans.com/system/search/p...?id=1801&rnum=3 or maybe its a typo error... wont be certain for sure
well, just wanted to know anyways.... biggrin.gif

^ nice fit.

do you size down?
*
Should be. But 1 size down only. My nudie is 32w and 32length. My actual size is 33w. Having hard time to put my nudie on for the 1st time, since i got big thigh. But now i kindda get used to it.

*
I asked a friend to buy it for me since he was going to Australia last week. He said he bought it at nudie jeans & co., melbourne for aud 350. In fact i did ask the grim tim red salvage jeans. I dont know its a rare piece... Well lucky me lol

350 aud!! you can get a far better denim with that amount..
*
Nope, it is aud350. He already bought it,might as well pay for it. Still new in this selvage business. I still consider myself lucky because he was unable to find the shop at 1st, only on his last day ive given him the address, he went there and got the jeans.
I dont mind the cost really, at least i know that lots of brand are quite cheap n premium quality after reading the thread.
Next salvage, i would ask u guys for recommendation lol!

Added on November 18, 2010, 11:53 pmOh another thing guys, its not a good time to shop in australia for now. The currency differences is a kill!

as long as you are happy, then everything is worthwhile smile.gif

but when there are sales in Australia, some brand still much cheaper than Malaysia..  so depends la really..
*
I dont that can be applied right now. Last time the currency was only 2.5-2.8. Now its 3.1. If got discount, should have lots of discount, 60% and more. Thats the way i see it

Yeap i am happy even thou i have to pay extra. Lesson learned lol!

First of all, very nice fit pics. I love the thin Finn fit loads.

I have both the grim tim and thin Finn but I somehow always prefer to wear the gt. Will post my fit pic tonight after work =D

Btw, where did you get the red selvedge from? Not general pants right? That price tag looks like a cactus jam price tag =/ it's not really expensive if you work here. I can buy a new pair of jeans every 2 days. Pay rate here for a part time mcd or subway job is like aud15-20 per hour. I work 8 hrs a day =D
*
my friend bought for me at Nudie jeans & Co., Melbourne, well if u ask me... if not just ignore this. lol!

Yeah I was directing the question at you. Wow, I didn't know that there was a nudie outlet. I thought they only distribute to retailers like general pants. Do you have the address?
*
yes... and also the phone number

Nudie Jeans Co. Melbourne
Shop 2 /190 Little Collins St, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
+61 3 9650 0373

Grimm, care to shed some light on the fit between thin finn and grim timm? i am thinking of getting a pair of grim timm but was told it is huge around the thigh area.
*
yes grim tim supposedly have wider thigh than the thin finn. i read it at mynudies forum. i'd say if u have small thigh, u should go for thin finn

@geno

Depends on the cut you want, the fit, and what do you want the jeans to do for you. I haven't seen too many n&f fit pics here. Can't comment on that.

@nazirul,

Raws bleed, non Raws don't
*
honestly, i like grim tim cut and i like dry selvage denim better. and the grimm tim is also rare piece now, makes me more into it lol....

as for the N&F, the weird cut is a bit loose....and im not so sure how many size down i have to make....

grimm tim is around rm500++ while N&F is for rm300++ minus shipping cost....

Eh? Of course. Raw selvedges too. I hooted several polos today to go with my jeans.

And, am thinking of trying to get an APC or Dior Homme pair next month as my self-gift for Christmas (anything for an excuse to buy more jeans eh?).
*
Same here. Everyday looking at the online store and still deciding either naked & famous elephant selvage or nudie grimm tim black dry selvage
